" so this is your first class! This is history which is my dads class!" I say shivering at the words.

" oh your dad is our teacher?" Lucas asks me looking down.

" um...yeah every one says that's he's the best but I think our English teacher is!" I say shrugging.

" oh cool!" He says smiling. I just smile back and open the door at walked in.

" um....hi dad!" I say not looking at my dad in the eyes. If I do it reminds me of what hr does to me then I'll just break down.

" oh hey Riley! Get in your seat! Who are you?" He asks Lucas.

" um this is Lucas friar!" I say for Lucas.

" was I talking to you? No! Now Lucas you can pick any seat!" He says pointing to all the free desks.

" I'll just have a seat next to Riley!" He says taking yogis seat. At least he didn't take mayas.

" hey dad where is every one? The bell already rang they should be in here!" I say confused.

" well I sent them outside to run a lap so I could talk to you but I guess I'll just talk to you after class!" My dad said sternly.

" yes father!" I say looking down drawing my purple cats in my note book.

" Riley do you have a pencil?" I hear Maya ask me. When did Maya get in here?

" um....yeah sure here!" I say handing her my pencil not noticing my dad already started his lesson.

" thanks!" She says and starts doodling down notes. I just sigh and finish drawing my purple cats.

" riles the bell rang! Let's go!" I hear farkle say.

" oh um...sorry okay I have to talk to my father really quick." I say gathering my stuff.

" okay we will see you in art!" Farkle says smiling and waving bye.

" Lucas just wait outside for me I should be quick!" I say giving Lucas a small smile. He just nods and goes out side. " yes father!" I say standing in front of him.

" did you do your homework last night?" He asks sternly.

" yes father!" I say showing him my homework.

" good! Now you listen here I don't want Lucas to suffer because he has to look at your ugly fat ass you here me!" He says grabbing my face so I look at him in the eyes.

" yes sir!" I say and then he let's my face go and tells me to go.

" let's go?" Lucas asks as he puts his phone away.

" um...yeah!" I say as we walk to set class. " look Lucas I don't want you to suffer so after this you shouldn't look, talk, or do anything to do with me!" I say as we stop in front of the class room.

" okay?" He says more as a question. I nod and walk into the class room and sit in my spot next to Maya. Lucas sat next to Farkle. I start to draw my purple cats. The teacher always hides the purple but I always find it!

" Riley honey um....we are suppose to paint what makes us happy!" Maya says.

" oh OK!" I say as I start a new page. At the end of class I had almost every one staring at me.
" what? Is there something wrong?" I ask confused.

" Riley honey are you okay?" The teacher asks me.

" yeah why wouldn't I be?" I ask confused more then ever.

" because your crying!" Maya says with consern all over her face.

" oh....um....I'm sorry!" I say whipping my tears away. I didn't even realize that I was crying.

" Riley what were you draw-" Maya was cut off when she looked at my painting. " oh honey!" She says hugging me.

" Maya I miss them so much!" I say trying not to cry. " its been a year and I still wake up hoping that my mom is downstairs making us food and that Auggie will come down talking about Ava!" I say now crying. I couldn't hold it any more.

" come on honey let's go!" Maya says walking me out of the class room.
