dinner

I walk out of my bedroom to see Lucas cooking dinner while he is singing. I walk up to him with a smile.

" you have quite a voice!" I say laughing a little as I sit on the counter.

" well thank you!" He says as he turns off the stove and start to make the table. I watch him until I hear my phone go off. I hop off the counter and pick up my phone not looking at the caller ID.

" hello?" I ask putting it on speaker because Lucas gave me a confused look.

" Riley I swear to god I will find you and you will get a beating you have never had before!" I hear my dad say there the phone.
" you don't even know where the fuck I am!" I say getting pissed off.

" I will find you!" He says hanging up the phone.

" fuck!" I yell throwing my phone across the room.

" I swear to god if he touches you I will tear him apart with a blink of an eye!" Lucas says madly. He looks like he's about to punch something.

" Lucas calm down! Its fine! He will never find me." I say grabbing his shoulder.

" no it is not fine! What are we going to do at school? He could hurt you then!" Lucas yells pacing from side to side.

" I just won't go to school!" I say rolling my eyes as I sit down on the counter again.

" no you have to go to school!" Lucas says stopping right in front of me.

" no I don't!" I say rolling my eyes as I pick at the food he made. " I mean yeah you might need school but I was going to college early anyway!" I say eating a piece of meat.

" no Riley please finish high school!" Lucas begs.

" um....let me think about it........no!" I say hopping off of the counter and walking back into my room. I change into PJs and grab my lap top and start to type my story that we are doing in English.

I was listening to music until I heard a knock on my door.
" come in Lucas!" I yell still typing my story. " what do you need?" I ask looking up at him with raised eyebrows.

" I just wanted to say sorry! I shouldn't have tryed to make you go to school! It isn't right." He say looking down at his shoes.

" its fine. I understand why you would want me to go but I just can't handle the stupid people there!" I say laughing a little.

" yeah!" He says laughing now sitting next to me. " so what are you typing?" He asks looking at my lap top.

" oh you know just that story we are doing for English class. I was going to finish it and then send it to the teacher!" I say smiling at him.

" cool! What is it called?" He asks reading what I was typing.

" oh um...my love is my life!"
( see what I did? Lol any way get back to the book!) I say smiling as I see him reading. He is so cute when he is reading he sticks out his tongue a little.

" nice title!" He says looking up at me. I did notice how close we were until now. I bite my lip and kiss him lightly. I pull away smiling as he pouts. " that wasn't long enough!" He whines.

" to bad! I'm going to bed! So goodnight!" I say turning off my light and rolling over on to my side.

" night riles!" He says kissing my cheek as he leaves and I slowly fall asleep think about my life.
