Chapter 9

Brennan's pov
Annie and I are still on the couch watching t when she says, "I'm sorry I made you go today babe, this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for me..." She starts to cry. "Hey, hey, don't cry. It's not your fault, I'm fine. Please don't blame yourself" I say, kissing her hand. She smiles, "I love you Brennan, so much" "I love you more Annie" I say, kissing her. I snuggle up closer to her and start to fall asleep. The last thing I hear before I fall asleep is Annie whisper, "How did I get so lucky?" I'm the lucky one.
~NEXT MORNING~
I wake up the next morning to the doorbell ringing. I get up carefully, trying not to wake up Annie. I think to myself, 'She's so cute when she sleeps..... Shoot, get the door Brennan!' I walk to the door and open to find microphones and cameras being shoved in my face, questions fired at me. I knew our YouTube channels have gotten very big recently, but not this big. "Brennan tell us, what happened with you, Annie, and Liv?" a reporter asked. I looked back to see Annie still asleep. I take a deep breath. "Look, nothing Liv said was true. She made it up to get back at us. Annie and I were already dating when I was forced to date Liv. When I couldn't take it anymore and broke up with her, she was furious. She's been trying to sabotage Annie and I's relationship but I'm telling you right now, nothing can. I love that girl more than anything else. She's my whole world and anyone who tries to come near her will have to go through me first" I say, staring into one of the cameras. "Is that really how you feel Brennan?" I hear a soft voice.
Annie's pov
Brennan just confessed his love to me I front of the whole country. "Is that really how you feel Brennan?" I say, smiling. He turns around. "Of course, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me" he says, taking my hands. He places his forehead on mine and stares into my eyes. We both lean in and connect our lips. I almost forget that this is happening I front of thousands of people. But when I hear cameras flashing, I'm brought back into reality. I pull back and smile at Brennan. He smiles back. "I think that's what you came for right?" he asks the reporters as he shuts the door. I giggle, taking his hand in mine. "I love you-" I start to say but I am cut off by the doorbell. I open the door to find Liv, of course. "You think I wouldn't find out about this?! You two are in for it now" she says. As she's walking away, Brennan yells, "Can't wait!" We both laugh. "As I was saying before, I love you too Brennan. You're my whole world and I couldn't live without her. And you're absolutely right, no one can tear us apart" I say. He gives me a huge hug. As we pull apart, Brennan says, "What do you think Liv is going to do next?" Right after he says that, my phone rings, Liv. "Are you kidding me?" I say. "What?" he asks concerned. "It's Liv" I reply. I answer it. The first thing I hear is Liv, "Annie, I swear. You better back off from Brennan or nothing will ever be the same. I'm giving you one last chance before this thing gets ugly" "Whatever Liv. We're stronger now, do whatever you want. We love each other and that's all that matters" I say before hanging up. Brennan looks at me. "All good?" he asks. "All good" I reply. I sit down next to him. "Get ready for a billion more news stories" he laughs. "We can take it" I say smiling. He nods, smiling with me.
