Kierra's POV:

2 years later (present):

My given name is Kierra Marie Tatum. I’m 18 year's old and I have exactly zero friends.

My appearance is okay I suppose. I'm 5"8 with long blonde hair, constantly pink cheeks, full red lips, a slim stature, and piercingly blue eyes.

I love music and nature. I have not had a boyfriend in 2 years since the incident. Since that godforsaken night I’ve been speechless.... Literally I’m legally mute.

Unknown POV:

She’s maturing nicely. Soon she will be ready to be claimed, the only problem is the risk of her rejecting me.

Kierra's POV:

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!!" ugh is it morning already? I cracked open my eyes hating the morning. Ugh I so wish I could just go back to bed, but unfortunately it wouldn’t look good if I didn't show up for my first day at a new school.

Crawling out of bed I bang my toe on something hard. A chest?!?! What the hell I don’t have anything like that. Okay so... this is soooo freaking weird..... Well I have to open it now hmm maybe that’s not a good idea I mean curiosity killed the cat right?

Eh oh well I’ve never been one to follow the rules. "CREEEEAAAK" Huh well that’s weird there’s another box identical to the first one. Damn... it’s locked!

Great whatever I don’t care. Okay showaaa time!!!! Ah this is my favorite part of the morning.

*15 minutes later*

I run to my closet to pick out an outfit. Just like every other day my meager choices were a bit disappointing. Whatever hmmm what'll it be today... I give up and just grab a pair of flip flops jeans and my favorite dirt is my makeup shirt. I decided a pair of silver hoop earrings to tie the outfit together.

Crap!!! Time to go!!! I run outside and hop in my good old restored 1967 Volkswagen bug. Jamming my key in the ignition I pray that she'll start.

Yes! Luck is on my side the engine caught on the first turn. I drove all the way to my new school. Wolf Creek High school was huge compared to the rest of this little town in Montana. I love how you didn't have to travel far till you’re in the forest with those lovely trees surrounding you.

When I pulled into the parking lot I realized that all of the parking spots are taken except one at the very far end of the lot. Heading towards it I’m just pulling in and this mustang almost T-bones me!!!

I park and grab my books as I step out I’m yanked out and slammed against my car. My books flew everywhere, and I’m being stared down by smoldering hot eyes and holy of all things good I think their black!!!! Wow these people have weird choice in contact colors...

"...ANSWER ME!!!" That snapped me out of my thoughts quickly, all I could do was stare at him shaking and helpless. "HELLO ARE YOU MUTE WHEN I SAY SOMETHING YOU ANSWER YOU LITTLE SLU..."

"That’s enough James!!!" this little pixie of a girl bellowed at this so called James character. I could feel the tears welling in my eyes threatening to overflow.

"Shut up Cheyenne It was her damn fault, she almost hit my baby!" James yelled back. Jeez these two act like siblings. "You idiot we all saw you almost take out her bug stop acting like an ass and go to class or else I’ll tell mom and she will whip you till your eyeballs burn!" Cheyenne screamed. Huh I so called it.

James released me and stalked off muttering what I am positive were swear words under his breath. The little pixie approached me and said "Oh gosh I’m so sorry my brother is such a douche sometimes, my name is Cheyenne by the way and I’m assuming you're the new girl Kierra."

I nodded my head yes and was slightly weirded out that she knew my name.

"Oops sorry you probably think I’m a weirdo for knowing your name ha-ha sorry actually everyone knows who you are we don’t usually get hu... uh new kids here so naturally everyone is talkin about you,"

Dear lord this girl sure can talk. That was kind of weird it almost sounded as if she was going to say humans odd.... then Cheyenne started in again "You don’t talk much do you?" I shrugged "oh well come on let’s get you're books and go to class.
