My friend Jamie finally came over today. He's been really busy with work and then vacation too. He's only a year older than me, the same age as Shawn. (Jamie Corbett aka justjamie) Today's his birthday (today's September 3 Jamie's real birthday) and I really wanted to do something fun for him. I decided to surprise him and take a train to nyc today for 3 weeks which is gonna be a long time but he's always said he wanted at least almost a month so we could look at collages to go to together, go sight seeing, and just hanging around. My parents didn't really care like always they just gave me money which I declined because I had saved all my money so we could go for a long period of time. 7,000 dollars which I knew is gonna be a lot to spend and it does seem like a lot but I get $250 dollars a week for working at MAC cosmetics. Let alone $105 for working for my parents. I really don't have anything to do cause I always finish my homework at school and study between 3-5 so I work from 5:30-9 every day and weekends I work 7-4 and then come home and do chores in my house. I had all the money I needed and still had $2345 that I would be using to buy my new husky at just puppies and get a new MacBook Pro 15. I was all set but my step parents didn't know why I was actually going. I had finally found my mom in the towns classified which showed all the people that have lived in the town. I looked through the my parents office and found the book that basically had all the papers from my adoption. I'm hoping that they still have the same last name which would be "chance". That's why I was going to New York, to find my parents. Jamie knew it but he never really wanted to bring it up cause he thought I would be sensitive about it which I am but not as much. I didn't know why they put me up for adoption because my step parents never told me when I asked they would say I'm not old enough to yet.

So here me and Jamie were laying on the grass in my back yard.

"Let's get in the pool" Jamie said.

"But I just took a shower and did my makeup" I pouted.

"We'll go take it off girl and let's get in" he laughed.

"Let's go then" I said as we both stood up and walked slowly into the house.

I walked up the curled stair case and went into Hayes room.

"Here Jamie lamie" I said as I threw him a pair of swimming trunks from Calvin Klein but not the speedo kind the long normal swimming trunks.

We walked down the hall to my room and Jamie walked into my bathroom so he could get dress and I got dress in my room. Jamie walked out as I was putting on my bikini top.

"Can you tie it jam" I asked.

"Yeah lil bitch I gotchu" he said as a let out a few soft giggles.

Jamie has always called me lil bitch I don't really know why it's just been like that since 5th grade. He's been there for me forever tho since the first day we met when we were not even 1 our parents put us together. My birthdays only 49 days from mine which is October 21st.  He's seen everything, been there for me so it's just not awkward for us.

Once he tied it we ran downstairs and grabbed towels that were on the lawn chairs in the grass.

After about 10 minutes of relaxing in the pool I started to get really hot from siting on the float.

"Going under" Jamie called to me notifying he was flipping off the float and into our pool.

All of a sudden I feel my self flip into the cold water. As I rise to the suffuse I see Jamie laughing at me.

"Jamie you bi-" I cut myself off before I said it.

"Come on Ev say it, when do you every just say you only live once and just do it"

I looked down and slightly whispered
"I don't wanna hurt you or anyone"

"You won't you never let go, you never drink, party, smoke or anything" he said slowly taking his fingers and lifting my chin up.

"Your my bestfriend and I love you but all I'm saying is take a break from being a goody goody and do something you really wanna do and not what you think you need to do" he said swimming over to the later.

"You coming, let's get something to eat" he said throwing me a towel after I got out.

I ran into the house and changed into a light orangish creamish colored bow dress. I put on some makeup that looked natural and ran downstairs to Jamie who had a tank and skinny jeans on.

"Lego" he yelled as we ran outside to his opened door white Jeep Wrangler Sahara.

We drove around town not really knowing where to go.

"Wanna go to the mall and we can get food too like McDonald's" I asked.

"Didn't think about that" Jamie laughed his adorable laugh as we drove down 97 highway towards the town mall.

3 hours later

We decided to watch ride along 2. As of right now we are just walking around and I only had like 3 bags which wasn't a lot but it was heavy I admit. We were in line at McDonalds and I noticed the guys here and my nerves were threw the roof right now. I grabbed Jamie's hand and held it tightly and he looked down at me.

"What's wrong"

"Jams there here"
