Elliot's POV
"Of course you live like this." I said walking into his pristine LA bachelor pad. The stereotypical celebrity "crib". Big TV. Bar. A million guest rooms. Giant windows. I could see a pool outside from where I was standing.
"What?" Adam asked, shrugging. I rolled my eyes and smiled. I set down my bag on his black leather couch and followed him into the kitchen with my bulky make up kit in my hand.
"What the hell do you have in that thing?" Adam asked as I smacked it down on the little island in the middle while he got us both something to drink.
"This, my clone, is a almost completed professional make up kit." I unclasped the heavy square box covered in stickers (from yours truly) and spun the two doors to the side.
"Woah..." Adam muttered and stepped closer to it. There were about twenty compartments, ten in the main space and five each on the doors, with ten slots each for products. Foundation, lip color, colored contacts, you name it. It's not completed but it's pretty damn impressive.
"Been working on this bad boy for years." I patted the back of it. Adam picked up an eyeliner pen.
"This is...unbelievable. This must be worth a fortune." I shrugged.
"Kind of. My dad got me the box when I was fifteen. I've been spending some money here and there since then filling it. Some are birthday presents from Chloe. Only person who knows what to get me." I chuckle and Adam smiled at that, putting back the pen. He then gestured to it.
"So you are going to use this to make you match up to me?" he asked, sliding a bottled water over to me. I grabbed it.
"As best as I can. The freckles might be a challenge, I can never get those right. Shortcut makes them look sloppy but the long way is just impossible." I took out my sketchbook from my bag and pencil sketched some ideas of how I was going to do both of us. About twenty scraped ideas and three water bottles later, I was frustrated out of my mind, and Adam had resorted to playing with all the empty bottles absentmindedly. He set one down and sighed.
"Have you figured anything out yet?" he asked. I huffed and scratched another idea out.
"Take that as a no..." he said, handing me another water bottle.
"These freckled are impossible!" I groaned and crossed out another idea. Adam sighed.
"I don't even know why you have to draw them, I usually cover them up." I looked up at him.
"Wait...you cover them up? Like all the time?" He nodded. I blinked at him.
"And you didn't want to tell me that about HALF AN HOUR AGO!?" he shrugged again. I groaned and slammed the notepad down.
"You are unbelievable..." I mumbled, picking out different shades of foundation tubes, as well as some lip coloring. I separated them into two sets, one for me and him. I tossed him the foundation matching my paler skin and brighter lips. I hold onto a tannish foundation and pink lip coloring.
"I trust you know how to put on makeup correct?" Adam scoffed at that.
"That's just insulting..." He replied making his way to what I presumed was the bathroom. I rolled my eyes and smiled. After a half an hour of waiting I huffed and lean on the island counter. He finally came out and I almost jumped. It was like seeing a legit mirror in front of me. His skin was the perfect shade of my skin tone contrasting on the same clear blue eyes. He even got his arms and hands right. I whistled, nodding my head.
"Impressive for an amateur, you even got the details right..." I stepped closer eying him up and down. He huffed a little rolling his eyes.
"Gee, are you just incapable of making a compliment or...?" I shoved him lightly, huffing back.
"Gee, diva much...?" I responded copying his flamboyant tone. He nodded at me proudly.
"Yes, yes I am." He crossed his arms raising his head confidently. I shoved him again.
"Wait here." I walked into the bathroom he just came out of and looked around. I widen my eyes and just how large it was. I rolled my eyes again but smiled.
"Diva..." I mumbled.
"Heard that!" He called from the other side of the door. I chuckled softly and took off my glasses, starting my weirdest effects job that really isn't even a job. In about twenty minutes what was staring back at me in his surprisingly flashy mirror wasn't me anymore. It was...well another me. Tanned and slight freckles on the hands and arms. I slip my glasses back on, having them look weird on me now, and stepped out of the bathroom. Adam stood up from his stool, grinning ear to ear.
"This is going to be so cool!" he squeaked. I chuckle and smile weakly.
He's going to ruin me...
