I wake up not knowing where I am and start to panic. It takes me a few minutes to realize that I'm with my grandma and that it was for real. Thank God that wasn't just another dream.
I pull on some jeans and an over sized black sweatshirt. I find my way to the kitchen by following to smekl of pancakes. My stomach was growling, I hadn't eaten for two days.
"Good morning hon, how'd you sleep." Grandma says as she sets a plate full of chocolate chip pancakes down in front of me.
   "Good, thanks for breakfast".
"I have some good friends, Tom and Amy, they have a son Andy who's your age. They live down the street. He doesn't have many friends but I think you two would get along."
I nod my head, it would be nice to have someone to hang out with. As long as I don't scare him off, I'd ytaken all my piercings out before I came here but my hair and clothing didn't always sit well with people. A lot of people even mistook me as a girl, but that didn't bother much.
"Would you be ok if they come over tommorow for dinner?" My grandma asks, snapping me out of my thoughts. I nod my head again and start helping clean up.

         ** time skip to Wal-Mart **

Grandma drags me to the boys  clothing section and piles a bunch of stuff on me. "Here try these on."
The only thing I liked was a shirt with a wolf and another one with a skull design on it. The jeans were to loose for my liking. Grandma had insisted that she buy me some new clothing because most of mine smelled like ciggaretts, pot and vomit. So Did my hair, but there was no way I was cutting it off, it would wash out eventually.... hopefully anyway.
I put the two shirts in the cart and run to the girls section to find a new pair of black skinny jeans. Mine were starting to wear out.
I pull them on, they were a bit tight in the crotch but that was fine. I open the door to show my grandma. She gets an amused  look on her face and starts laughing, "do those fit you right?"
   "Well....yes and no."

The rest of the trip we spent picking out food. When we get home I help put away groceries and put my new clothes in the wash. Then I grab a bag of chips and flip through the channels, trying to find something good.

(Cause I'm lazy time skip to dinner table)

I sit there listening to stories about how crazy my family was and how much they would love  me. I find myself excited for this I never really had a chance with a loving  family until now, hell I didn't even know what the fuck a family was.
Then we got onto to topic of school.
"If your ready how about next week monday?"
I shake me head no, there was no way in hell that I wanted to deal with stupid annoying as fuck people or shitty teachers.
"Andy will be going to school with you."
I put my head down, "but I haven't even met him though."
"Yet.. remember tommorow night they're coming for dinner. They are all very excited that your here."
Ok that makes me feel a little better but I'm still going to freak out a little. I just hope they don't freak out and run when they see me.
