chapter 14

I wake up to Vic purring and curled up almost on top of me. I poke his nose, he sneezes and wakes up. He hisses at me and burries his head back under the blankets.

"Viccy get up let's get some food."

At this his head pops up and hops over to the door. Downstairs grandma and ants were making breakfast.

"Ash you should go get Andy." Says ant lisa.

"Ok, Vic you wanna come with."

I text andy telling him I was coming over. He replied with a smiley face.

I check the door. It was locked so I knocked on it. A boy with short blonde hair and khakis pants opened it. "Hey Andy do you have a boyfriend now?" He yells meanly. Andy pushes past him "shut up". "What'd you just say to me!"

He grabs my hand and starts walking, Vic follows.

"This is my cousin Vic." I introduce them. They both smile at each other.

We get back to my house and Andy gets mobbed by the ladies
I sit down next to Vic at the table. "Dude he's hot". "I know", I reply.

Andy comes over and I sit on his lap. "So what's up with that other guy?"

"That's normal most of my other family doesn't like me much."

"Don't worry Andy we like you." Vic says

"Thanks that makes me feel better." I kiss his cheek making him smile a little.

A big plate of waffles is set in front of us. "Thanks grandma." We all say. I start eating and forcing Andy to eat, he was getting a bit to skinny.

"I ont a ood".
I giggle at his attempts to speak through his overstuffed mouth. It was adorable.

"You need to eat more, youre to skinny."

"No im.not"

I poke his ribs. "Yes you are." I feed him more, this time not having to stab him with a fork.

Uncle Ricky and uncle Tod come sit by us. "Hello Andy, welcome to our insanity." Uncle Tod says solemnly and shakes his hand. "You guys wanna go outside and blow some shit up?"

We put lighter fluid into empty beer and pop cans. Uncle Ricky strings a gasoline soaked rope through them and hangs it between two poles.

"Ok boys stand back." Uncle Tod (who was young enough to be considered a cousin) he light one end of the rope and ran away from it. The cans exploded, the sound echoing throughout the entire neighborhood. Every one was jumping up and down yelling excitedly. Watch out the purdys are in town

Andy's pov

Back inside we go down to the basement were people are doing who the hell knows what. My phone vibrates,

Time to come home please

I don't wanna :'(

Ok mommy

Thank you darling

I sight "Ash I gotta go".

"Do you have to?" He whines.

"Sorry doll, mommy's orders."

He pouts, "ok, I'll walk you out."

We step outside, I pull him close to me for a kiss. My stomach growled again. "Do you wanna suck my blood." Ashley mumbles against the crook of my neck

"I feel like I'm hurting you when I do."

"Don't worry, it doesnt." He pulls his long black hair away from his neck. I feel my fangs slide out and grab his hips, clutching him tightly to me so he wouldn't move to much. If he did move alot my fangs could get caught and end up ripping chunks of skin off, defiantly not something I wanted to do.

I sink my fangs into his neck and begin drinking his warm, sweet, blood, it was somewhat tangy this time. I stop myself before I take to much.

"You can have more" he whispers.

I shake my head and kiss him deeply. He shivers and I hold him for a few minutes. "Ugh I really wanna stay."

"Come back later then."

"Ok but go inside, youre still shivering."

Ashleys pov

I went back inside feeling dizzy. I loved it when Andy drank from me although I knew he didn't take as much as he needed. Grandma noticed my dizziness because she made me sit down and handed me a hot drink.

"I don't think you should be running around until you get your blood back." I look up at ant lisa, other aunts and older girl cousins. "Hes a vampire right" asks briar.

I nod my head as they talk excitedly.

I run through the house away from Vic. He was irritating me so I threw a cup of water on him, he wasn't all to thrilled about that.

"I'm gonna catch you ashy." He laughs hysterically. Which to be honest was funny but terrifying so I ran faster. I reach my room and slam the door shut just to have it flung open again. Vic pounces on top of me "I got you"
We both laugh.

"Hey what's this." He lifts my hair.

"A sexy vampire bite me."

"Oh so that's why you look so tired."

"Yeah, and it doesnt help that I'm in the middle of my period to."

"Cool.. Well not really, but now I know we have another thing in common."
