Mansion - day 3.2

#I'm sorry that I fall back on Cancer's pov much, it's just the easiest since I'm one myself#

I put one earbud in to listen to music while enjoying the smell of the woods. We arrived at the lake, it was a beautiful sight. I looked around and caught Scorpio's gaze, I carefully smiled, he just looked away. Ugh, now he doesn't even want to face me. I just looked at my feet. Too bad it's too cold to take a swim. I looked at the lake longingly, until people started complaining about the cold, so we turned around. I threw one last look at it, then followed the others, pulling my scarf up to my ears.

I silently walked next to Sagittarius. Say something to him, it's so awkward now. 'I like the lake' I blurted. It's something I guess. 'Yeah, me too, I'm glad Leo and I found it' he said. It went silent again.
'What should we do next?' I asked to try and save this conversation. 'Well, maybe we could try truth or dare this evening, something like that?' 'I guess it's better than being bored all day'
I really despise these sorts of games, but I can't just go and play piano all day, unfortunately. That would only cause them a headache.

Sag walked to the front to talk to Capricorn about truth or dare, so now Aries was walking next to me. Considering his short temper, I might as well avoid making conversation with him.
I put my other earbud in and took my phone. I really feel like writing something. I started randomly typing a story until someone snatched my phone away from me, my earbuds still in my ears.
'Hey, give that back!' I shouted, Aries had it and victoriously held it in the air. 'What were you doing on here? Oh my, a writer are we?' he said with a devious smile. Oh no... 'Can you just, give it back. Please?' I asked him with pleading eyes, but his eyes were scanning across my phone. He started giggling and showing it to Cap.

'Please, Aries stop!' I begged, trying to snatch my phone from his hands but to no avail. Gem tried to snatch it away from him, she almost had it, but he threw my phone to Capricorn, who also started reading. Why did I start writing around the others? It's my own stupid fault!

When we were back, Aries still had my phone. Gem was sternly talking to him. I felt tears blurring my vision again. He can have the damned thing. I ran upstairs to my room and locked the door behind me. Don't cry, please don't, you'll only make a bigger fool of yourself. I pulled my earbuds out of my pocket and looked for my iPod, but I realized I left it at home. What a sh*tty day...
I. Need. Fresh. Air.

I carefully looked outside my window, it wasn't that high. Maybe if I use my blanket... I tied a tight knot around the balcony and slid down, avoiding the windows. I ran, I just ran towards the treeline, at the foot of the hill the mansion was standing on, and cried my heart out, my head in my hands.

All my private thoughts are in that phone. I'm in some real shit right now.

It was late afternoon by now, but I still didn't feel like facing the others. I decided to climb back up my blanket to my balcony, and fell asleep on my bed.

When I woke up, it was late evening. I could hear the others laughing downstairs. Are they laughing about my stories? No, don't get all dramatic now. The girls would never do that. The stars were shining, and it was really tempting to go outside again. But first fix my make up a little. Like I guessed, my make up was anywhere but where it was supposed to be. I cleaned it off and just put on mascara and thin eyeliner, I didn't feel like foundation today. I put on my jacket, and slid down the balcony from my blanket again.

I sat down right next to the house, admiring the stars in the sky. I tried to shake off today's events filling my head, driving me crazy, and just concentrated on the stars for now. I heard the door and startled. I tried to hide around the corner, but the person was faster.

Scorpio. Really? Such timing. He just looked at me, I could see his worry, because my eyes were still watery. He said nothing, and handed me something. My phone!
'Th-thank you Scorpio' I genuinely thanked him, he just shrugged. 'It was kind of a dick move from Aries, I took your phone from him the instant we got inside. I wanted to give it back, I just, couldn't find you' he stammered, and threw a sideways look at my blanket-escape, grinning. He shook his head, pulling his hand through his hair, and turned around, but I took his wrist. 'Wait, please' he looked surprised. 'I-I'm sorry, if you want to go back inside-' I added, but he shook his head. 'I'm not that into spin the bottle anyway' he said, scrunching his nose, and he sat down next to me.

'Are you... are you okay?' he hesitantly asked. I sighed deeply. 'Honestly? I guess...' 'But are you sure?' he added, I looked at him. He had a flash of something in his eyes, I just couldn't place it.
Tears already welled up in my eyes again, and to my embarrassment, he saw it. 'Hey, it's okay, Aries only showed it to Cap and me' I hugged him, and felt his muscles tighten because he wasn't used to this. 'Y-you read it too?' I asked, suprised, I felt him nod. Well great. Just great.

'Oh god, I'm s-so embarrassed...' I pulled out of the hug. 'Don't be, it's okay' he awkwardly rubbed my back. I wiped away my tears and smiled. 'Thanks, again' I sighed. 'Do you want to listen to some music?' I carefully asked, he nodded. I put an earbud in his ear and put on my favourite song.
I felt tired again, so I leaned against the wall, my eyes fluttering shut. I sighed, I'm so glad I talked to someone. I faced him, catching his gaze, his cologne filling my head. I got a little closer, he did too.
Are we about to... Is this happening?!
I couldn't back down now. I leaned in and brushed his lips with mine, then he leaned in and we kissed.

I slowly backed away after I-don't-know-how-long, he bit his lower lip, and I heavily blushed. Oh god, what did I do?! Did he even want that? Was it okay? He took my chin to make me face him and pecked my cheek. 'I'm sorry, I've been wanting to do that for a while' he chuckled and lightly blushed. 'I d-don't mind' I said, and leaned my head on his shoulder, he wrapped his arm around me. 'If Aries or anyone else bothers you again, you warn me okay?' he said, his arm tightening when he spoke Aries' name. I nodded and nuzzled my face in his neck. We listened to the song, cuddled up to each other.
