Aries x Taurus
~ Aries
I drove the car to the front of her house, nearly hitting a trash can.
Maybe I do need driving lessons...I threw tiny rocks at her window until she appeared. Her hair was messy and she looked surprised to see me. 'What are you doing here in the middle of the night?!' she whisper-yelled, I stifled a laugh. 'Your chariot awaits, princess. We're going on a trip' I whisper-yelled back, and motioned for her to come down, but she hesitated. 'Come on, it's not that high and I'll catch you!' I encouraged her. 'One moment' she mumbled and disappeared.
A few minutes later she appeared again, all dressed and even with a touch of make-up. She jumped down into my arms and we shared a passionate kiss. I took a good look at her, she was wearing that cool leather jacket I liked, with dark blue shorts, white sneakers and a white shirt. 'Damn, you look good' I whispered, she wiggled her eyebrows. 'Come on, let's go' she whispered and I pulled her to my car. 'Woah, where did you get that?' she said, examining it. 'I borrowed it from dad' I shrugged.
'No way, he let you take his car?' 'Well, he doesn't exactly know about it...' 'You idiot! He'll kill you if you get caught' she hissed, but I knew she was grinning. 'Just get in already' I rolled my eyes. I started it up and carefully drove away, into the night. 'Where are we actually going?' she asked, curious. 'Trust me, you'll love it' I replied and laid my hand on her knee, throwing her a quick wink.
But the wink wasn't quick enough, apparently. Because I almost drove straight into a tree. I made a sharp right turn while Taurus squealed and put her hands in front of her eyes. My heartbeat had picked up a pace, but I was glad we were okay. 'Wait, do you even know how to drive this thing?!' she urgently asked, I almost laughed.
'Normally, I'd lie and say yes, but considering the fact I alsmost crashed us into a tree, I assume you know the answer' I chuckled, she shoved me. 'That's not funny, you're going to get us killed!' she shouted and frantically looked around for a way to escape. 'Calm down, I promise I won't get us killed' I said, it seemed to actually calm her down. 'At least, not tonight' I added, and she hit me over the head. We both chuckled, and I saw we were nearing our destination. 'No way, is that...' she asked, her eyes growing wider in excitement. 'Yup' I answered, and grabbed hold of her hand.
The sand made it more difficult to drive, so I stopped the car. Taurus jumped out and did a happy dance, I chuckled and kissed her forehead. 'Happy birthday babe. Do you like my first present?' I whispered, she hugged me and nodded. 'Thank you' she breathed, and then she ran off to the sea.
I knew she loved the beach, but her parents always kept her from going there, because her brother drowned some time ago. They believed it would only cause accidents. I felt so sorry for her, so I took my dad's car and drove her, and fortunately, she loved it.She motioned for me to follow her while she took off her shoes, I ran towards her and took mine off too. We let the water wash over our feet, and stargazed. Her eyes were teary, but I knew they were tears of joy. I pulled her in for a tight hug before I went and took her actual present out of the car. I handed it to her, rubbing the back of my neck while she unpacked it. She gasped and almost tackled me in a hug. 'New drawing stuff! Thank you thank you thank you!' she squealed and placed a kiss on my lips while admiring her brand new sketchbook and pencils. 'You like it?' I hesitantly asked, she frowned. 'Are you kidding? Of course I do!' she playfully hit my arm and chuckled. Phew, I'm glad to hear that. She always draws, on everything, especially from the moment her sketchbook was full. So I bought her a new one, and hope she'll never stop drawing.
The sky lightened up a little, so I knew it was time to go. I sighed and kissed Taurus, then pulled her away from the water. 'I'm sorry but, we have to go before my dad wakes up' I whispered while tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. She nodded understandingly and smiled. I walked and got into the car, watching her. She looked at the horizon one more time, then she took her shoes and ran towards me. 'Are you okay?' I asked her before I started driving, she nodded. I took her hand again and drove her home.
She got out of the car and stood in front of her house, looking for a way to reach the window. I pulled her in for a hug and a kiss.
'Aries' she whispered against my neck, making me shiver. 'Yes?' 'Thank you so much for tonight' I felt her smile. I smiled too, gave her one more kiss, and let go. 'I'll help you up' I said, lifting her so she could first throw her present through her window. I took her ankles and lifted her again, her hands just reaching the windowframe. She pulled herself up and smiled at me again, blowing me a kiss before she closed the window. I waved at her as I got into my car and drove home. After I carefully parked the car, I climbed the rain pipe to my bedroom window, carefully jumping inside. I went straight to bed, but before falling asleep, I thought of Taurus, and her reaction to my presents. I'm so glad she loved it, I love seeing her happy. The last thing going through my mind before I fell asleep, was her smile.
