~ Sagittarius

One more look, no more after that. I carefully moved my gaze from Capricorn to Taurus, who was energetically talking to Scorpio. I frowned and looked at Cap again. Just try not to zone out.

'Dude, are you even listening to me? We were talking about the water fight after school?' Cap sighed and looked at me. 'Wha- of course I was listening, don't be ridiculous!' I said, while quickly sneaking a glance at Scorpio and Taurus. Cap rolled his eyes and looked behind him, at Taurus and Scorpio. 'Look man, don't worry. They're best friends' he said, probably getting tired of my behaviour.

'But don't you see the chemistry between them?' I whined, motioning to them laughing together. Cap scowled and dragged me away by my arm, towards the two "friends" talking. 'Hey Scorpio, Taurus.' he said, smirking. 'Hey Sag' Scorpio said, we high-fived. 'Hi Saggy' I heard her say, I swallowed and turned to her. Her dark blue eyes were boring into mine, she smiled. 'You know I hate it when you call me that!' I chuckled and gave her a soft push. 'Duh, why do you think I call you that, Saggy?' she said, her eyes twinkling cheekily.

'Sorry to interrupt you, but Sag and I had this awesome idea' Cap boasted, giving me a meaningful look. 'What? What is it?' Taurus asked, Scorpio shrugged, but I knew he was listening too. 'Well, I thought we could go to Cap's house to have a water fight!' I said, and grinned, Taurus' face lit up. 'That's awesome! We'll be there' she said, motioning to Scorpio. 'Cool, see you after school!' Cap said, and dragged me away.

'Was I that bad?' I asked him, he chuckled. 'Not that bad, but pretty damn awful' he answered.
' "You know I hate it when you call me that" ' he mocked me. He started laughing like a lunatic when I pushed him out of the cafeteria, hoping nobody knew what it was about. 'Come on, it was funny! Aren't you always the jokester of out group?' he said, still giggling. I rolled my eyes and pushed him behind a tree. 'Hey, don't be so rough with the one who got you an excuse to be with Taurus after school!' he said, wiggling his eyebrows. 'Well, thanks I guess?' I scoffed.

Cap and I got into his house and threw our bags in the corner. After I put on my swimming shorts and a white T-shirt in the bathroom, we started filling water balloons. A little while later, the doorbell rang, Cap went to answer it. 'Hey Cancer, Pisces, Gemini! Come in!' he gestured for them to come inside and they did. 'Hey Sag!' Pisces said, I smiled at her. 'Can we help?' Cancer asked us, we shook our heads. 'Nah, you can go sunbathing' I said, they smiled and went to the backyard.

The bell rang again, this time it was Virgo, Leo and Taurus. Taurus wore a dark blue jumpsuit, matching her twinkling eyes. Woah. 'Hey Saggy' she said, winking and walking to the backyard. I followed her, carrying a bucket of balloons. 'Now we just wait until the others get here' Pisces said, taking off her dress and laying back in her white bikini. The bell rang, and I went to answer this time, it was the rest of the boys. 'Aqua, Aries, Libra, Scorpio, come in!' I let them in and closed the door. Let's get this party started!

Cap stood on the picnic table trying to get our attention. 'Okay, before we begin, a few rules: number one; no purposely hurting other people. Number two; no breaking stuff. Last rule; nobody quits except when someone's in pain. Understood? Then... let's begin!' he cheered, the others joined. 'Everyone take your weapons!' Leo screamed, taking her super soaker. When everyone was "armed", we had to stand on the edge of the pool.

'Ready? Set? Go!' Taurus yelled, and the water-war began. I squirted water into Cancer's face and threw a water balloon at Scorpio. Carefully making my way to Taurus, I attacked anyone in my path. Finally, I was next to her, and threw a balloon. She gasped at the splash of cold water and faced me, getting her game-face on and chasing me with a water balloon. She took hold of my wrist, and I stopped, my heart skipping a beat at the contact. She batted her eyes and pulled me closer, almost kissing me on my cheek... Then she pushed me into the pool.

When I surfaced, Taurus was doubled over, laughing at me. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit too. 'I got you so good!' she said, and prodded my stomach. 'You totally cheated' I mumbled, squirting water on her. She squealed and tried to protect herself with her hands, but to no avail. I dropped the balloons and lifted her, jumping into the water with her. When we surfaced, we laughed and swam back to the side, not noticing everyone was looking at us. 'Hey lovebirds, a little help here!' Scorpio yelled, he got attacked by Cancer, Virgo and Leo. I winked at Taurus and helped Scorpio fight off the girls.

Someone tapped my shoulder, so I turned around, receiving a bucket of water right in my face from Pisces and Gemini. I grinned as I threw my last balloons at them, then ran to get new ones. Taurus was already there. We both reached for the last balloon, she looked at me. Challenge accepted. We both squeezed, and it exploded in our faces. We laughed once again, wiping the water from our faces.
She put her hands on my shoulders, pulling me closer again. I carefully looked, but we weren't close to the pool, so I couldn't throw her in again.

I got a little closer too, pecking her cheek. She blushed and stroked the place my lips had touched. She then smiled and pulled me in for a kiss, a good one this time. My head spun and I wrapped my arms around her. When we slowly pulled away, we were looked at by the others. A few looks were exchanged, then everyone started spraying us with water and cheering. Taurus smiled at me and pulled me into the pool again. The others joined, all the super soakers and water balloons were empty, so the fight was over. 'Best day ever' I whispered in Taurus' ear, she nodded in agreement and put her head on my chest.
