~ Pisces
Cancer, Leo and I were playing against Cap, Aqua and Scorpio, and the girls were winning! Cancer and Scorpio smiled to each other sometimes, making my heart ache. I'm really happy for my best friend, but I like Scorpio too... I guess I'll just try and get over him, sisters before misters.
I cut Capricorn off with my car, making him groan in frustration. 'Go girls!' Taurus and Gemini cheered. 'Boys, I'm disappointed!' Aries sighed when Cancer, Leo and I finished first and high-fived. I smiled at Leo and also at Cancer, who genuinely smiled, too, indicating she forgave me. I'm so happy she forgave me, I know she isn't a person to holde a grudge against someone. She isn't hateful like that, in fact, she's the only person I know who hasn't hated more than two people ever!
We switched places with the other six, so now Virgo, Gem and Taurus were playing against Libra, Aries and Sag. 'Come on boys, we'll crush them in this round!' Sag encouraged his team. 'Don't let them win, girls!' I cheered. Sag bumped Virgo's car off a cliff, but Taurus took revenge for her by knocking his over. He cursed in frustration and whispered something in Aries' ear. They both grinned, and as soon as Sag caught up again, they smashed their cars together, making the others bump into each other and fall behind, so they finished first. 'Come on, why me?' Libra whined, while Sag and Aries cheered in victory. 'That's cheating!' Gem growled, 'That's teamwork' Sag responded, and high-fived Aries.
'Can we play another game?' Leo asked, already digging through the pile of games. After a while of searching, she held up a horror one. 'No, please no horror!' Cancer and I pleaded, but they played it anyway. 'First team: Aries, Leo and Libra VS second team: Scorpio, Gem and Taurus!' Capricorn called out. As soon as everyone was seated properly, the game started. 'Okay, so we have to destroy the most monsters, right?' Leo asked, Libra nodded. 'AAH there's one!' Leo shouted and shot a three-headed dragon. 'AAAH no!' Gem screamed when a monster jump-scared her, it was game over for her. Taurus shot a zombie that almost attacked Scorpio, they smiled at each other. 'Hey! That monster was mine!' Libra scowled at Aries, who was giggling, but the celebration was cut short by a screaming demon that appeared in front of Aries. 'Not fair!' he ranted. 'That's what Karma does' Libra snickered and shot a walking skeleton.
TIME'S UP! Appeared on the screen, everyone waited for the scores. TEAM 1: 17 POINTS / TEAM 2: 14 POINTS. The first team cheered and high-fived, while team two silently passed the controllers to the others. 'First team: Cap, Aqua and Pisces! Second team: Cancer, Sag and Virgo!' Aries shouted, people switched places and passed controllers.
'I-I don't want to play!' I stammered, trying to pass the controller to someone else, but nobody took it. 'It's just a game, it's okay' Aqua whispered, which made me calm down a bit, but I still wasn't at ease. I carefully looked around me for monsters, staying in the same spot. I heard a growl and a huge tiger was coming my way. I screamed and kept shooting it until it died. 'Move, Pisces! Or you'll be attacked!' Cap told me, I squeaked and ran forward, up a flight of stairs.
A ghost appeared from the wall, I screamed again and shot at it until it went away. I kept playing like that, shooting and screaming at anything in my way until finally the words TIME'S UP! signalled the end of this round. 'Never again' I sighed while waiting for the scores, Cancer nodded in agreement. TEAM 1: 14 POINTS TEAM 2: 20 POINTS. Cap scowled, but Aqua just shrugged, while the other team cheered. 'What game next?' Virgo asked me, I shrugged. 'As long as it's no horror again, I don't care' I replied. 'What about the board game?' Gem suggested, but the boys groaned. 'Lame!' Scorpio shouted. 'Well, why don't you pick something then?' she scowled at him, he shrugged and picked one. 'A war game? Yeah, 'cause that's fun' Gemini snorted, Scorpio put it back in the box. 'What about this?' he said, holding up a sports game. 'Fine with me' Sagittarius shrugged, everyone agreed. 'What sport first?' Capricorn asked. 'Tennis?' Leo suggested, he nodded. 'Okay, Leo, Scorpio and I against Pisces, Aqua and Libra' he shouted. We exchanged controllers again, and played. 'Oh no! Sorry!' I chuckled when I hit the net. Our team won despite me though, and I was glad. I high-fived them and sat in a corner, feeling slightly bored.
I feel like drawing. I grabbed my sketchbook from upstairs, along with a pencil and an eraser. I started sketching a dream catcher. I just love how they look with the beads and feathers!
I was just going to add details when Cancer plunged into the seat next to me. 'Hey, what are you drawing?' she asked, glancing at my drawing. 'Just a dreamcatcher' I shrugged, not really content with the feathers and threads. 'Wow, it's amazing!' Cancer gasped, stroking the feathers on the drawing. 'I was just going to add details' I said, while watching her eyes grow wider in surpise. 'This isn't the final form? You absolutely need to show it to me when it's done, I'd love to see it!' she beamed at me and gave me a bear-hug.
She kept watching me draw for a while, and then walked to the others to surprise-hug Scorpio. He smiled and pulled her in for a brief kiss, I looked away and focussed on drawing again.
When I was nearly finished with adding colour, someone shook my arm. It was already dark outside, and Gem smiled at me. 'Are you coming for dinner? We're having spaghetti by Virgo, and you surely don't want to miss that' she winked and helped me up. 'Wow, that drawing is amazing! Did you know that dreamcatchers were believed to trap nightmares? The tighter the threads were woven, the less nightmares that could pass through' she told me while linking her arm into mine and walking to the table. 'No, I didn't, actually. I thought they were just meant for decoration'
'I read it somewhere, but I can't remember where...' she thoughtfully said, we arrived at the table and sat down.
Everyone enjoyed dinner, which is difficult not to, because Virgo's spaghetti is awesome! I helped Gem clean up, we had a really interesting conversation about dream catchers! She knows so much, I really like having informative conversations with her. Everyone went to bed, I was super-tired from the night before, so I instantly fell asleep.
