Part 5

Okay I'm finally updating wow. Also side note I do realize that the beach isn't necessarily close to Columbus but let's just pretend it is for the sake of fluff.

It had been a few days now since Tyler landed on Earth and to be completely honest it was the best few days in both their lives.

Everyday Tyler would be more and more eager to pull Josh out of bed to take him places and show him things, and Josh had to admit, he loved seeing the child-like wonder fill Tyler's crimson eyes.

Tyler was almost always the first to wake up, but this morning Josh had beat him to it.

Josh peeked down at Tyler who has curled into his bare chest. His cheeks were flushed as they always were when he slept and his soft brown hair was ruffled and falling in his face. His delicate eyelashes rested on the tops of his cheeks and he looked so peaceful.

Josh leaned down ever so slightly and placed a gentle kiss to his supple forehead.

He knew exactly where he wanted to take Tyler today. They had already gone hiking in the woods, which Tyler loved, and Josh had taken him around the city to look at all the tall buildings, but now he wanted to show Tyler his favorite place on this whole planet. The humans called it the beach.

Josh smiled still holding Tyler until he started to move around.

"Josh?" He asked in a quiet voice, raspy from neglect.

"Morning Ty." He smiled kissing each of Tyler's eyelids. Tyler giggled at the gesture.

"Where are we going today?" He inquired stretching out as much as he could and yawning.

"I'm going to take you to see all that water I was talking about." Josh propped himself up on one elbow and looked down at Tyler, tracing his hand over the tan skin on his chest.

Tyler's face lit up. "Okay! I should go umm..." Then he looked confused as if he was searching for the word.

"Shower?" Josh finished, smiling at his expression.

"Right. Some of their words utterly confuse me. How did that even come about and what does it mean?" Tyler shook his head and tried to rub the sleep from his eyes.

"I don't know but I need to shower too so hurry up." Josh leaned down and kissed his lips.

Tyler grinned kissing back. "Okayyy. But you know you could always come with me."

Josh's cheeks flushed almost as bright as his hair. "Tyler please. You're still royalty. That wouldn't be appropriate."

Tyler rolled his eyes and then stood up from the bed making his way to the bathroom.

"Well neither are my thoughts about you, but I don't see the authorities taking action." He called over his shoulder, grinning smugly.

Josh thought if he blushed any harder his cheeks would catch fire.

After the two had showered, separately of course, they got dressed. Josh had to give Tyler some clothes because the attire one wears to a beach is much different than normal.

"Josh why do I have to wear these garments? They make noise when I walk." Tyler frowned at himself in the mirror.

Josh giggled and came up behind him, wrapping his arms loosely around Tyler's waist.
"Because they are swim shorts. When they get wet they won't be heavy like normal pants would. And because it's what everyone wears to the beach."

"Mm'okay. I guess. You look really good in yours." Tyler mumbled not making eye contact with Josh.

Tyler had always been the straight forward one and he always gave Josh a reason to blush or get embarrassed.
