The Girl With The Red Hoodie

Prologue

I'm sitting in an inn in this little village I happened upon just an hour ago its a quaint little village. The name is called Sunny Parks.

I know I mustn't stay long because the piece guards are looking for me but I'm weary of my travels I wear a sheep skin over my red hoodie that I wear to avoid suspicion. I know they've been warned of my hoodie and how I'm wanted.

I'm also a werewolf on the run a rebel because I snuck away from where I was kept I found out what they wanted from me and ran.

And what's all this trouble over a simple hoodie sweater?

Well my recent activities have caught notice. I'm trying to catch up to somebody whose causing a load of trouble.

I'm not sure if he's a vampire tracker or a hunter like me.

I was always careful in eliminating the competition. Being a werewolf vampires are enemies to me, but I wasn't careful this last month which is how I got in trouble.

I recently eliminated a vampire who was only half vampire, there was a Piece Guard who was witness to me so I took him out too my biggest mistake because a civilian saw and called more cops and yes they described seeing only a red hoodie and weaponry which is why I wear the large red hoodie.

I carry an array of weapons all fair size some smaller ones hidden in places nobody would dare check without receiving a whipping or some other form of punishment.

"Excuse me but you best be careful because I know who you are and what you do."some cloaked figure said sitting across from me.

"If you think you'll get me first think again."I remarked

We both keep our hoodies up and heads level only able to see brown eyes of each other.

"I do believe I've got you just look under the table."he said

I stick my knifed boot onto the chair which he sat on. Then I quickly threw the table aside pushing his chair backwards and landing over him with a knife trained on him from my sleeve.

He still has his pistol trained on me.

"Now whose got who?"I asked taking a look at his face.

Nice jaw line short brown hair matching his eyes. An average nose.

"You only caught me by surprise."he said

"That's not an admission and you couldn't have had me anyway with the safety on."I said

He looks at his gun still in his hand.

"So care to join I could use backup since I've got you, and you found me but might I ask one tinsy question?"I asked

"What?"he asked back

"You we're last two hours travel from here when I stopped here just an hour ago yet your here trying to get me how?"I ask

"I'm a shifter I thought you were those guards after me but then I caught sight of you going up against a vampire and your coat. I led you here then went hunting for provisions I came back and decided to warn you because I saw them coming their a days travel from here we'll either rest than shack up together and leave or we leave now and camp somewhere hidden."he said

"Pleading your case unfortunately the looks we're getting I say it splitting time."I say letting my stranger up and partner for now.

We grabbed our things and hid our weapons and I put the table back then we slipped out the back door through the kitchen. I steal a few things walking by he does the same.

Luckily nobody is in the kitchen. I see him lift several knives very long ones and put them in a bag I grabbed some other food hiding them in my bag then we leave through the back door and run into the forest away from the inn.
