Language of the Bird (A Young Justice fan fiction)

Chapter 6

The team sat in anticipation as the opening credits ran across the screen. All the animals in the circus received a baby from the stork except for mama elephant. Robin's eyes lit up when he saw the conductor load up the train.

They all smiled as the clowns danced through the parade making the crowd laugh.

They watched sadly as all the elephants disowned Dumbo. "They're so mean!" Meagan said softly.

"That's so sweet!" Artemis cooed as all the babies snuggled with their mamas.

"Ok this is getting kind of weird..." they all nodded in agreement as Dumbo was hallucinating about the elephants on parade.

"I agree with the crows on this one... elephants can't fly." Roy muttered.

No one noticed as Robin shed a tear when Timothy talked about Dumbo being an orphan.

Artemis punched Roy in the arm "I told you that Dumbo could fly!"

"Um guys..." Wally looked around the room "Where's Rob?"...

(A/N - sorry this is short and also sorry that this took so long. i'm going to start updating on saterdays so it'll be rare for me to update during the week. So two things to remember... updates on saterdays and to stay whelmed and feel the aster!)
