Maddison's POV 

We've been in school for two months now and I want to kill myself. My classes were kicking my ass, I was studying to become a nurse just like Chaz he was in all of my classes we had picked the same schedule which makes it nice cause we have honestly become so close the past two months, we were both specializing in pediatrics too who knew that he loved kids just as much as I did. I started hanging out more with Nathan, the cute light skin that was in my french class. I've always been into light skins. He's really sweet and he has become mine and Chaz's study buddy since we're all in the same program. We were studying for mid-terms right now and I haven't had a full 8 hours of sleep in months, if I'm not sleeping I'm studying and vice versa. I worked many long hours in high school to save up so I could focus on school and not have to work during university. 

Currently, Chaz, Nathan and I were laying on the floor of the library. It was 2 am and to say that we were drowsy was an understatement. 

" What is the largest artery in the body? " Chaz asked me 

" The Aorta" I replied while trying to balance my pencil in between my upper lip and my nose

" That was an easy question, give her a harder one," Nathan said 

" Hey, that wasn't easy!" I protested throwing my pencil at Nathan who sat across from me 

" Okay fine what are the four major Arteries ?" Chaz asked 

" The right coronary artery, the left main coronary artery, the left anterior descending and the left circumflex artery" I replied with a smirk on my face directed towards Nathan 

" Show off," He said 

We continued like that until 3:30 am when we decided to call it a night and head to sleep. We didn't have class until 10 am it was the essentials of Anatomy and Physiology. Tonight we're getting a little more sleep than usual but not enough. Depending on when I fall asleep. Chaz and I walked towards our apartment building it was kind of cold out since it was the middle of the night, me being the smart person I am, forgot my sweater at home. Chaz noticed me shivering and offered me his sweater, of course, I declined his offer but he insisted. 

" Thank you" I mumbled softly 

He just smiled, Chaz is very quiet, he has brown hair and brown eyes. He's cute but not my type. 

" What are you thinking about, " Chaz asked as he opened the door of the apartment building for me 

" I was just thinking that you are a very good looking man," I said chuckling 

"Thanks, you're not so bad yourself," he said smirking
