Everyone thinks I'm dating my other best friend Aaron, but it's not like that.

Derek frowned at the new scent that wafted through his loft. It was a sweet scent that he enjoyed very much, more than he'd like to admit. It was one of a humans, it wasn't Lydia or Allison he already knew their scents, and didn't care much for those smells. This scent on the other hand had him completely intrigued.

He walked out of the kitchen to see Scott entering the loft with the boy from the mall. Derek suddenly felt embarrassed knowing very well that Lydia would now be watching him and the guy the entire night. He scowled at Scott before going back into the kitchen where Isaac was sitting on one of the counters talking to Erica and Boyd.

"Is our new friend here?" Isaac called out to Scott who entered the kitchen with Stiles.

"You guys remember Stiles, right?" Scott pointed at the boy who was smiling at them.

"How could we forget, you wouldn't shut up about him." Derek grunted under his breath getting a glare from Scott which he returned.

Lydia walked into the room and gave Stiles a tight hug without a word. He hugged her back half surprised, she pulled away smiling but Derek could see something of fear in her eyes. She stood by Derek now he could hear how loudly her heart was pounding, that only meant one thing she just had a vision of their guest. Jackson walked in and patted Stiles's shoulder giving him a curt nod.

"So Stiles, risky question, I know." Isaac hesitated, "Where did you run off to?"

Derek could see Stiles thinking about his answer he was hiding something, "Well, honestly I tried to get to my grandparents house but ended up lost and alone."

"Wow, why?" Erica chipped in they were both getting glares from Scott.

"It was after my mom died, I just wanted to see my grandparents and my dad was mourning so I didn't want to bug him." Stiles shook his head, "stupid I know."

"It's not stupid." Allison smiled, "I think it's sweet but I'm pretty sure you had half the whole town worried about you."

"Yeah, after I got lost I found this school that took me in, it was a boarding school so I had everything I needed." Stiles hummed, "I'm just glad my dad isn't pissed at me."

"Well, I'm glad you're back." Scott patted his shoulder, "let's go play video games."

With that Scott, Stiles, Isaac, Erica, Jackson, Allison, and Boyd left Derek and Lydia in the kitchen alone. Derek looked down at Lydia his lips in a thin line she sighed her breath shaky. She sat down and Derek waited for her to start.

"He's a hunter." Was all she murmured.

"Excuse me?" Derek crossed his arms over his chest his eyebrows knitting together.

"He's a hunter who's here to kill us," Lydia stood up getting closer to Derek so that the rest of the pack didn't hear. "He went to school so that his father wouldn't have anymore debt, that school that took him in so willingly was a hunting school."

"I'm going to kill him now." Derek started walking but Lydia stopped him dragging him back into the kitchen.

"He's their best hunter, Derek." She hissed, "He'd kill all of us in the blink of an eye."

"Well what do you propose we do then?" Derek scowled.

"We keep this between us." Lydia whispered, "and I think I have a plan."

"Which is?" Derek raised an eyebrow.

"Seduce him." Lydia smirked, "you specifically."

"No." Derek grunted, "Hell no."

"Come on Hale, take one for the team." Lydia sighed, "you save our asses and get pleasure out of it, think about it you make him fall in love and you won't even have to kill him just break his heart."

"Lydia-" Derek started.

"Derek, you're gay and probably the only one that would do this for the pack." Lydia glared at him, "so suck it up and get your flirt on."

Derek sighed but nodded, "fine whatever."

Lydia smiled patting him on the shoulder. She walked out the kitchen leaving Derek alone to think about how he was going to even approach Stiles. He sighed running his hand through his hair, he walked into the living room to see Stiles beating Scott in some fighting game. Lydia had a very persuasive fake smile on her face, Derek took the only seat left next to Stiles.

Stiles beat Scott with one last kick in the game, Scott groaned as Stiles tossed the remote to Isaac why took it gladly. He never figured he'd actually be having fun with a bunch of werewolves but he was, he knew that he still had to stay on guard but it felt like nothing had changed between him and Scott. Which he knew would only complicate his situation in the end.

"I'm gonna get more soda, anybody want anything?" Stiles stood up completely comfortable with digging in the fridge.

"Get me one too please!" Scott grunted as Isaac kicked his ass in the game.

Stiles nodded walking out of the room, he could tell someone had followed him in and he had a pretty sharp guess who it was. He turned to see Derek giving him a half smile, he acted surprised clutching at his chest. He let out an awkward laugh before throwing out his empty can.

"Jeez, you scared the crap outta me." Stiles laughed.

"Sorry." Stiles couldn't help but stare at the wolf's beauty.

His dark hair was messy, but looked amazing styled like that. His hazel eyes shone with embarrassment, and his bunny teeth were practically shinning from his smile. His stubble made everything seem sharper and it also covered up his dimples on his cheeks.

"Er, is there something you wanted to talk about?" Stiles leaned against the counter.

He wanted to say he was a good actor, playing nervous, but in truth the alpha made his stomach erupt with butterflies. He blinked and the smile that was on the wolf's face disappeared into something of fear.

"Yeah actually, I was wondering if you would like to go on-" Derek stopped himself waiting to see if anyone was listening in on their conversation, "a date with me?"

"Straight forward." Stiles chuckled, "I like that."

"So is that a yes?" Derek watched as Stiles reached into the fridge and grabbed three cans of soda.

"That's a maybe." Stiles chucked one at him as he walked into the other room, Derek had caught it instantly.

Stiles now found himself playing hard to get, if Derek actually wanted him that would complicate his seduction scheme. He'd have to make the wolf work for it, make the wolf beg him. He always was a sucker for submissive wolves, especially if they looked like Derek Hale.
