Nani’s POV:
I sat there in the spot where he left me, sobbing myself to sleep and screaming short prayers that he would make it back safely, before finally falling asleep. I lad there curled in a ball and for the first time in my life I had a nightmare that turned into a beautiful dream.
Shots echoed all around the black room and my body hit the ground as I began to frantically screaming for someone to save us. In the very back of my mind I wondered who ‘we’ were considering all I could hear was myself at the dispense of the gunshots. Pain ricocheted throughout my chest and I knew I had been hit.
I let out a shrill scream and suddenly the ground turned into glass and my eyes widened as I looked down at my reflection, only to see Niall’s refection staring back at me, mimicking my moves. As I frantically searched the room I saw Niall lying in a pool of his own dark red blood, gasping for air. When I looked back at the mirror my own reflection was staring back at me with wide eyes and I felt no more pain.
Suddenly a light flashed and we were inside of a hospital. Nurses and doctors were shouting orders frantically as they rushed someone back into the emergency rooms. Right as they passed through the doors I saw that the person laying on the gurney was Niall and I instantly began sobbing for him as I saw his heart monitor flat line.
The nurses had brought out those shocker things but I was forced to look away before I could see the outcome as someone’s hand constricted around my throat and pulled me back. I screamed but no one paid any attention to me. I looked into none other than Jake’s cold hard eyes staring back at me, anger pulsing through his veins.
My eyes widened and then instantly shut again as tears rolled out of them. I didn’t want Jake to know how scared I was but I couldn’t help the tears from rolling down my cheeks. I could hear Niall’s heart rate keep the steady flat lining and I so desperately prayed that it would spike. Sadly, no spike came and I looked back at Jake as he slowly suffocated the life out of me. Everything turned black as my eyes rolled into my head.
Suddenly all of the pain was gone and I could breathe easily once again. As I slowly opened my eyes I saw millions of stars cascaded above me in the sky. As I was lying down I could feel Niall’s warmth surround me. I didn’t look up to see his face but something inside of me just knew it was really him.
His arm was cradled gently around my waist and he held me close to him as I gently rested my head on his chest. I listened to his calm heartbeat thump and relaxed as his chest slowly rose and fell. Knowing he was alive sent a wave of relief crashing over me as I snuggled closer into him.
He opened his gentle blue eyes and looked at me with a soft smile forming on his lips. “You’re beautiful princess.” He said in the gentlest way possible.
I smiled and looked up at him and he gently sat up and caressed my face as he planted his lips gently onto mine. “Don’t leave me Nani, Please?” he whispered on my lips. I closed my eyes and smiled as our lips brushed when we talked. “I wouldn’t dream of it.” I whispered and meant it with all my heart.
I was suddenly awoken by the front door unlocking. As I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes, my mind still rushing from the ending of the dream, only one thought coursed through my mind causing a wide smile to spread across my face:
Niall.
