"Okay Mrs.Hope" you're all done here she said.
"Thanks" I mumbled not looking at her, Ray squeezed my hand.
"You've got a lot of proof Hun you don't have to be afraid, you'll win and he'll be sent away for a while" she smiled
"Yeah" I said and she walked out and I got dressed, Ray turned around so he wouldn't see anything.
"Hey did you have a dream last nigh?" He asked
"A dream?"
"Yes a dream maybe a reminder of someone"
"Not that I'm aware of, why"
"You were talking in your sleep" he said sounding a bit agitated.
"Oh" I said as I finished getting dressed. We left the doctors office and went to McDonalds to get some breakfast. I got a cinnamon roll and so did he we sat down to eat them. He looked really sad or out of it.
"Ray?" I asked
"Yeah" he smiled
"I-uerm th-thanks for coming with me today" I said loosing my nerve
"No problem and Hopey I'm fine Hun" he did that adorable half smile I loved so much, I couldn't help but blush I closed my eyes and leaned over to kiss him but I felt a smack across my face. I opened my eyes tears falling I trusted Ray and he...he..he was fighting Angel.
"She's mine emo boy" he said
"She's a person not a prize" Ray retorted hitting his gut making him fall. I was frozen there remembering the rape, tears falling from my eyes that he was the reason I was going through this. I felt my arm being pulled and next thing I know I'm in a car with Ray, Andrew, and Kyle.....where did they come from?
"Hope you okay" Kyle asked looking back at me
"That was the jackass who raped her..NO SHE'S NOT OKAY" Andrew yelled handing Ray an ice pack which he put on my cheek.
"Babe babe....Hope it's okay where going to your house" Ray said I didn't answer I just pulled my legs up to my chest and screamed, ray put his arms around me until I stopped my tears kept falling though. We made it to my house where Cameron was dancing in his underwear in the living room to an Elvis song, I stopped crying immediately and laughed it was like watching the Nanny when CeCe walked in on Niles. He stopped dancing and looked at us all.
"Well this is awkward" he said
"Well it doesn't matter look" Andrew said pointing at me "she's happy" he finished.
"Why was she upset" Cam asked
"Angel smacked her while we were at McDonald's" Ray said it sounded like his voice was seeping with poison
"I-I was just a bit stunned and seeing his face scared me" I said shrinking back into a corner like I had always done when I told Cam about Angel.
"It's okay Hope, you'll be free soon enough" Cam said hugging me
"Cam thanks do me a favor though?" I said
"What's that"
"You don't have pants on"
"OH MY JESUS IM PRACTICALLY NUDE SOMEONE HELP ME FIND MY PAJAMA BOTTOMS" He yelled running around looking for his pants which where on the.....ceiling fan and I didn't find out till I turned it on and they hit Kyle in the face.
