Nothing Happened I mostly hung out with Jayy and Moon and after school I headed straight for the other High school. I ran mostly because Angel was looking for me and I wasn't in the mood to get hit, I ran into someone halfway away from the school. I let out a small cry and shielded my face waiting for the pain.
"Ummmm, Hope?" I looked up and saw Kyle standing in front of me I immediately started to blush
"S-sorry" I said, pushing myself up off the ground, I heard footsteps running around the corner and without thinking I pushed Kyle down and ran but I felt my hair being pulled and next thing I know I was on the ground. My lip ended up getting split, great how am I suppose to hide this from Cameron. I realized Kyle was around and I saw him sitting up beside me with a bloody nose.
"I'm sorry I-It I'm sorry Kyle I'll be more careful next time I'll run the other way or something" I choked out tears burning my face as I looked away from him
"It's alright did you think I was gonna let them do that to you?, Hope you have to tell the school" He said pulling me into a hug
"no, It'll get worse and he threatened to start doing the same to Moonlight if I did tell"
"come on Hope lets go to my house and get ourselves cleaned up"
On our way to his house I hadn't noticed but I began singing the song that i always listen to when this happened. Set the world on fire by Black Veil Brides. I looked up at Kyle halfway through the song and immediately stopped when I saw he was staring at me.
"s-sorry, force of habit" I mumbled
"strange habit, but I didn't mind you're really good yah know, why that song?" He asked
"Keeps me going, yah know Proud of all you are showing every scar as your badge of honor? It's basically telling me to keep going"
"I get that"
We walked the rest of the way in silence when we got there I saw a boy about our age sitting on the couch. He looked up from his spot on the couch and looked shocked.
"Shit" he mumbled
"Bro if I knew you were getting bullied I wouldn't have left you there like that I'm sorry" he said
"I'm not" Kyle said looking at his brother confused
"sorry, it was my fault he looks like that" I said
"Hope for the millionth time I wasn't gonna let them do that to you" Kyle said
"Thank you but don't get involved next time ok?" I said pleadingly
"wait, who did this and who is the chick?" his brother asked
"I'm hope, kids from 'my' school, and I'm really sorry about your brother" I said shuffling back a bit, He got up and walked over to me when he lifted his hand I flinched back behind Kyle.
"Um....hope?" Kyle said
"s-sorry I thought..."I trailed off
"you thought what?" His brother asked confused
"I thought you were gonna hit me" I muttered
"excuse me?!" he asked shocked
"I would never, it's never ok for a man to hit a girl, also I was reaching to shake your hand and introduce myself, and who hit you? I can have them expelled or worse since I'm the star quarter back at the school" He said that last part proudly
"I don't go to your school, I'm at the other high school" I said still behind Kyle like a child, the is of course until he rolled hi eyes and pushed me forward I shot him a glare and He stuck his tongue out at me.
