BETH'S POV

We all gathered around the choir room and everybody was sitting down taking to each other, we all seemed to get along quite well

"Hello class you are officially our Glee club for this year, since you may not all know each other that well our first assignment is duets" says Mr Schue as he writes the word duets across the board.

"Do we get to chose our partners?" Asked Tate

"No because like I said this assignment is to try and get to know each other better, I will choose partners at random by pulling names from a hat" says Mr Schue

"Miss Corcran can you please start pairing people?" Asked Mr Schue

"Sure" says mum

"Here are the following pairs" says mum reading off the list

"Beth and Logan
Max and Mamrie
Lilia and Maddi
Tate and Harry
Kyle and Nina
Ben and Alicia"

"Really Miss Corcran you paired me up with Harry? He may pass some of his gayness onto me" says Tate

"Honestly Tate I wouldn't be surprised if you already had some" says Ben

"Urgh, whatever" says Tate pissed off

"To make things interesting I'm making this a competition and the wining duet will be featured as soloists at sectionals" says Mr Schue

Everybody starts cheering and hi-diving each other, I'm really happy I was paired with Logan because he's amazing at singing, I'm not so sure what he did to Alicia to hurt her? I should really ask her.

As we were leaving rehearsals I decide to go talk to Harry because he seemed upset after Tate's comment.

"Hey, I'm Beth Puckerman" I say to him

"Umm hey I'm Harry Temple" he says

"I'm really sorry about Tate's nasty comment, but you got to admit Ben's comeback was pretty great though" I say

"Yeah, Ben's always been a great friend since Middle school" he says

"Sorry if I'm getting to personal but when did you come out?" I ask

"No it's okay and I came out about a month ago, it feels great to finally just be myself but at the same time you get people like Tate or my mum that make you feel like shit" says Harry

"Oh okay, you seem like a cool guy do you have Facebook?" I ask

"Yeah add me Beth Puckerman" I say

"Cool, also add me on snapchat and Instagram @Harry_Temple12" he says

"Awesome, mines @Beth_xoxo"

"Thanks for the chat, you just made my day a bit better" he says

"It's all good" I say and I walk off
