Beth's POV

Our house was quite a small house. It had one kitchen, a lounge room, one tiny bathroom and two bedrooms one for me and one for mum. Just outside the house as a small laundry.

"So honey what do you think?" asked mum

"It's quite small but I like it" I said

"I know it's not much but it's the only house I could rent at such small notice" said mum

"Rent?" I asked

"We'll be moving to a much larger house in a few months, the original owners of the house aren't ready to move out yet" said mum

"Oh thank god" I whispered to myself

"What was that?" asked Mum

"Nothing" I said

Mum had a annoyed look on the face

"You should unpack your boxes, your bed, closet and cupboards are already in your room" said mum

"Ok" I said as I walked to the pile of boxes to take mine to my room

My room was really small, my closet, bed and cupboards were taking up most of the room

As I was putting clothes into my cupboard I was listening to music. Then my favourite song Skyfall by Adele came on and I started singing along

Most mums would be like "STOP SINGING RIGHT NOW" but not mine. I had a quite and sweet voice apparently like my real mum. My dream is to be a singer and according to mum I could sing before I could talk.

"You have a remarkable singing voice" said a women who was standing at the front of my door

"Who are you and what are you doing here!?" I asked scared

"I'm Rachel Barbra Berry, star in the revival of Funny Girl, female lead in the William McKinley High School glee club many years ago and your sister" Said Rachel very fast in one breath

"Sister?" I asked

"Yeah, we'll not biologically I'm Shelby's biological daughter, she had me when she was sixteen then I was adopted by a gay couple" said Rachel

"Oh" I said

"So... are you excited for school tomorrow?" Asked Rachel

"It's a new school of course not" I said furiously

"Don't worry about it you'll be fine, as long as if you don't get into any girl drama" said Rachel

"I'll do my best to avoid it unlike Cady Heroin in mean girls" I said

"Girls dinners ready!" Yelled Shelby

"Coming" Yelled Rachel
