Chapter 8- Part One

BETH'S POV
I was sitting in the choir room waiting for Logan so we could rehearse for our duet on Friday, when he walks he sits down and starts texting. After about five minutes I am sick of him already so I try to get his attention

"Umm? Hello!" I shout waving my arms in his face

"Excuse me but who are you?" He asks

"I'm Beth, your duet partner?" I say giving him a pissed of look

"Oh yeah that's right" he says

"Well then get off your phone and let's start picking songs" I say

"I've already chosen the song, I know what you did last summer by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello" he says

"For somebody who pisses me off you actually chose a good song" I say

"How have I pissed you off?" He asks

"You were on your phone for five minutes completely ignoring me and forgetting about the duet" I say

"Geez kid stop overreacting" he says

"Let's just start rehearsing before I rip your head off" I say annoyed

"Admit it, you want to kiss me" he says

"I would rather drink my own vomit" I say to him

LOGAN'S POV
I honestly have no idea what Beth's problem is, I mean she's so annoying and over reacts to everything but at least she agreed to do the song and she's really hot so bonus.

MAX'S POV
When I walk into the dance to to rehearse my duet with Mamrie and I see her dancing to Hopelessly devoted to you from Grease, she's so amazing at dancing and she's so beautiful. Mamrie is one of those friends that you've known since you were a baby because your mums are best friends and so you become best friends, then you later start to develop a crush on them. I've liked her since Middle school yet I've been too scared to ask her out because she's way out of my league, she's Mamrie Berlec a aspiring dancer and done photo shoots with sport wear companies while me, I'm just Max Orlando the cheeky guy who loves to dance and muck around with mates.

"You're really talented" I say to her once the song is finished

"Thanks, as you know it's my mums favourite song so I'm dancing to it at her wedding in two weeks" I say

"That's awesome, your mum will love that" I say

"Anyways, for our duet I was thinking we should also add an dance element since dance is such an major passion for both of us" I suggest

"That sounds great, we should do Shut up and dance by Walk the moon" Mamrie suggests

"That sounds great lets do it" says Mamrie

MAMRIE'S POV
I'm so happy that Max liked my song suggestion, hopefully doing this duet with him will give me the courage to tell him that I've liked him since Elementary school. No probberly not he's way out of my league

MADDI'S POV
I was really nervous walking into the auditorium to practice the duet with Lilia. She's one of the popular cheerleaders while I'm just that weird girl who sits in the corner reading books and hiding the fact she's a lesbian. When she walks in my heart skips a beat she's so gorgeous, I take out my earphones as she approaches me.

"What song were you listening to?" She asks

"Umm Therapy by All time low it's my favourite song" I ask nervously

"Omg I love All time low, we should sing one of their songs" she suggests

"Yes, how about an acoustic version of Six feet under the stars?" I suggest

"Yes we have to sing that, we are going to kill this assignment and get that sectionals duet hi-five, Maddi" Lilia says as we hi-five

LILIA'S POV
"Oh I'm sorry Maddi, my boyfriend is calling me" I say

"Oh don't worry that's okay" says Maddi

"Hey baby" I say

"Listen I'm so not sorry to say this but I'm breaking up with you because the truth is your not that hot and your boobs, eh average so hope you're having a great day at school while I'm having sex with my new girlfriend, okay bye" he hangs up and I just back into the wall. Since I am a closeted bisexual I thought that relationships would be easier to find, turns out it's not that easy

"Listen, you don't need somebody like him, one day you'll find a person who will love you just for you and who won't judge you, cheat on you and most importantly make you feel happy" Maddi says to me.

"Well hopefully one day I'll find that person" I say to Lilia as I give her a hug

"You will trust me" I say back honestly that smile on her face gives me butterflies in my stomach.

Tate's POV
Great, absolutely fabulous it's now time to work with Harry Temple, he's so happy with himself and out with his sexuality. Then there's me insecure gay Tate worried about what his friends would think. I know my dad and younger sister would be supportive since my uncle is gay but my mum wouldn't because of her homophobic beliefs and I'm the quarterback of the football team how would the team react? I'd be a laughing stock and voted off the team for sure. Suddenly Harry walks in all cheerful and happy and drops his bag

"Let's face it, I don't like you and you clearly don't like me but we're both just going to have to deal with it so you can chose the song and I'll just deal with it" Harry says

"I'm surprised if you know this due to your gayness but how about hmmm Sophomore slump or comeback of the year by Fall Out Boy" I suggest

"Never heard of it but I'll make it work" he says

"Hmm you better" I say snarky

Harry's POV
"What's that suppose to mean? I ask

"So I have to spend less time with you as possible" he says

"Geez thanks, don't worry you're not gonna turn gay or anything" I say waving my hands

"That would be terrible, thank god I'm straight" Tate says
