It was late at night at Central Park. The only sound that someone could hear, was the flapping of the birds flying around to find a thich branch to spend the night. From time to time, there was also the faint sound of a car passing outside the park. The narrow road was empty and shadowy.

Homelesses didn't usually pick this path to sleep because it was too dark.

But right there, under an big old oak tree's shadow, there was a man standing with his back to the trunk of the tree. His face was completely hidden by the dark, but he could be seen, every three to five minutes, turning his head, first right and then left, taking out of his pocket a watch, wich sparkled a bit under the faint light coming from a street lantern , looking at it and then returning to his first position.

-"I told you Fleamont...once you reach that state...when you always look for potentional dangers...well...you never turn it off! You just can't!", a voice said from behind.

A tall man with long face, a chiseled chin and light brown hair came out of shadows.

-"And I haven't believed you at the time Hector.", Fleamont, the man standing on the tree, responded and made two steps to the new visitor of the road.

-"Oh, I'm sorry.", Hector said raising both of his eyebrows and giving gus voice an ironic tone.

-"Uhh...For what?"

-"I know how much you like being right all the time"

They both grinned, but quickly they got serious again. Fleamont sighted and then spoke...

-"Always a joker, aren't you Granger?"

-"Usually, yes. Jokes never get old. But this is not why I called you here tonight."

-"I imagined. A man calling an old friend that he hadn't spoke to for nearly thirty years to meet him in the middle of the night in the most quiet place if this city just to tell him a joke...? Yeah, I didn't thing so."

-"Well I hope you're prepared then. A little birdy told me that very special relative of yours is coming to town..."

-"Who? The only relatives I have and are still alive are my daughter-in-law's sister's family and..."

A pause followed. Then Fleamont took a deep breath, looked into Hector's eyes and said...

-"No...no. You don't mean..."

-"That's right. Your grandson is coming to New York. Would be that nice for a family reunion?" , Hector said full of irony.

-"No. Harry Potter must not come here!"

-"Well it's too late for that I'm afraid... He's already on his way."

-"Does, Does he know? Who I am- Does he know that?"

-"No. He has no idea! But it wouldn't be hard to find out once he arrives..."

Fleamont looked down. Then he frowned, like a quick thought passed through his head. He turned to Hector , looking suspiciously at him and asked...

-"And how did an information like that ended up in your hands?"

-"Well, let's just say I've got my resources..."

-"You put one of your men to follow him didn't you?"

-"Don't worry granpa! He didn't follow him to the airplane."

-"Well. I guess then you chose your side."

-"Again with that. I've already told you. I go, where the winner goes. Give me a sign you'll be the winner and I'll follow you."

-"So. I guess it's time for you to cross me then."

-"Nah. You got it all wrong Fleamont. I told you all of this and letting you go now in the name of our old friendship. Of course that doesn't mean I won't tell my boss, Fenrir Grayback, everything I told you here tonight, Minister."

Hector turned his back and started walking. But Fleamont's loud voice stopped him.

-"NO YOU WON'T! ", Fleamont shouted.

Hector turned around but before he could do anything Fleamont took out his wand, pointed it at him and yelled...

-"OBLIVIATE!"

A white flash surrounded them for a second. After that, Fleamont has disappeared and Hector was lying unconscious on the ground. He frowned, opend his eyes raised his head and looked around for a bit.

-"When did I get to the park?" He mumbled." Ugh, nevermind. I must have been sleepwalking again...or sleep-apparating..."he continued. After a big yawn he said:

-"Oh well, back to sleep. Nothing important ever happens to a park in the middle of the night."

The next moment, the man was gone.

Fleamont appeared behind the truck of a tree, sighted and sai with sadness:

-"I'm sorry old friend. But I couldn't let you blow up everything I've done so far to overthrow Grayback's pack from the city's leading team. And if Harry comes here...well I don't think the werewolves will be very happy to see the person who defeated their dark lord. "

He turned around and started walking.

-"Whatever happens, they can't have Harry too. That would mean the end of everyone's hope. My grandson must stay safe. No matter what."

Fleamont apparated the second he finished his words.

But on the top of the great oak tree, a black raven was watching. Suddenly, a purple smoke surrounded it and after it was all cleaned up, the raven had disappeared. In its place, a young girl with black hair was standing, looking at the place where Fleamont was last seen.

"Professor would like to hear about this", she whispered to herself and turned back into a raven a few moments after. Then she flew away and disappeared in the cloudy sky.
