I took the suitcase that was my wedding present, told Brit to what to tell people – that there was a complication with the bachelorette party, that the wedding is cancel for today -- and finally, me and Hunter arrived just in time to catch his – and now our -- flight.
Lucky me, it was first class. I sat down in my seat next to Hunter and I noticed two young adults making their way towards us. It was Corey Smith and Samantha Underwood, Hunter’s co-stars.
“Where have you been all morning? I thought we’d have our own version of the ‘Hang Over’.” the girl said, referring to the comedy where these guys go to Las Vegas and get into a bunch of trouble.
“Sorry, Sam. I kinda have a situation here.” He said pointing me and I gave her an intimidated smile. She was beautiful.
“Oh, please, you can stop your flirting for one second to tell me where you where,” she insisted.
“No, no, we’re not flirting. We’re far past that point really,” and he showed her the ring around his finger.
Sam and Corey’s eyes became as big as dinner plates and their jaw dropped. It was hard not to find their expression a bit funny.
“Bloody Hell, Hunt! You go married?” Corey asked in absolute shock.
“Kinda, yeah. Guys, this is Acadia... Willis?” he asked looking over at me.
“I guess,” I shrugged.
“You were suppost to become Acadia Anderson,” I thought, but at the same time, Acadia Willis souded better.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Acadia,” Coray said, putting out his hand. I shook it for a second and the light signal asked for people to take their seats so they walked away.
I just sat there and played with my ring with between my fingers. It really was beautiful. My mind started wandering and I found myself crying slow silent tears with realizing it.
“You ok?” Hunter asked, looking concerned.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” I lied, whipping away the tears with the sleeve of my shirt.
“Hum... we have a long flight ahead of us. Would you maybe want to tell me something about yourself?” he offered, trying get rid of the awkward silence.
“Well, I was born and grew up in Victorville, California. I went to community college, but dropped out when I was offered a full time job in the the towns bakery. I’ve now been working there for about 3 years and I’m head of the decorating departement. I love making plain things look beautiful,” I smiled. “Of course, I know what you do,” I added.
“Well, you don’t know everything about me,” he commented.
“You were born and raised in London, England. You have 4 siblings, 3 younger sisters called Maria, Addison and Helena, one older brother named Charles. He’s in a band and as the guitarist. You starting acting when you were 9 years old and your best friend is Samantha,” I said, remembering many articles I read about the very person sitting next to me.
“Sure, that’s my life, but do you know why I got into acting? Why Samantha is my best friend, the name of the band my brother is in and why it’s called that? No.”
He was right.
“Well, I didn’t say that I did know everthinga bout you,” I commented, rolling my eyes.
He simply looked at me and chuckled. He was the cutest laugh and I couldn’t help but slightly laugh along.
We talked none-stop for a few hours. He has such interesting stories and I had a few of my own. Having a normal conversation with him came so naturally even though he was an international super star I accidently married while drunk. But besides all that, he was just a nice genuin guy. I couldn’t help but smile a lot and even let out a few giggles.
