I saw Hunter a few times, just socializing with old friends and I figured I already kept him to myself for a few days, I could very well leave him alone tonight.
The party was starting to be more of a rager by midnight. There were flashing lights and people were dancing close together, jumping up and down. I kept my distance from the mass, not the kind to grin against strangers.
I sat at the bar instead, but didn’t order anything though a few people have offered to buy me one. I was bobbing my head to the music and my mind wandered off.
What was Tom doing right now? Did he even miss me? Was he mad at me? Surely. But still, not trying to call me was terribly uncaring of him.
I realized that though I haven’t seen him in about a week, I wasn’t really missing him. I was having fun here. In only a few days, I was starting too really like this place. Love this place even. I felt... at home here, living with Hunter.
“Hey, pretty. You want to get fucked tonight?” a completely drunken man said, sitting on the stool next to me. He was a mess.
“No thanks,” and I turned my head to ignore him.
“Oh, come on! You’re really hot and I’m... I’m hot too!” he stuttered.
I was about to get up and leave when he grabbed my arm, pulling me towards him.
“Don’t be a prude, darling!” he said and squeezed my ass.
“Leave me alone!” I yelled, snatching my arm away from him.
“Don’t be like that!”
He got up and grabbed me around the waist. I hit him on his chest for him to let go of me, but though he was drunk, it didn’t change that he was much bigger and stronger than me. Tried to kiss me and I slapped him across the face.
Without anyone noticing, he pulled me away from the bar and placed me my back against a wall. I was hitting him and asking for help, but no one seemed to see that something was wrong.
He grabbed onto my hair with one hand while putting the other back on my ass. He then pressed his lips on mine, trying to stick his tongue into my mouth.
I didn’t give up on trying pushing him away.
Please! Please stop! I was mentally begging as tears started to for in my eyes.
I closed my eyes and prayed though I didn’t really believe in God. Was I getting rapped tonight?
All of a sudden, the man was off of me. I opened my eyes to see he was lying on the floor, rubbing his cheek and Hunter was standing beside me, rubbing his knuckles.
“Oh, thank you, Hunt!” I said and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.
It was then that I realized he smelled of alcohol. He was drunk too! Great.
He was having trouble standing up and looked mad, staring down at the man who was assaulting me.
“Hunt, you ok?” I asked worried.
“I-I have to talk to you...” he stuttered and pulled me away from the man.
He brought me outside, in the back yard. There was more light and I saw that he was pale.
“Hunter, maybe we should just leave...”
“No!” he cut me off. “I have something to say, Dia!”
