Partners Or Lovers?

Bothered

Our perfect moment was interrupted by people talking.
"Ha! I told you! You owe me 50 bucks!" I hear Munch say to Finn.
I pull back from the kiss and look at them, but not letting go of my hold on her.
I see Finn hand munch a $50 bill.
I feel Liv burry her head into my chest.
I hear Finn and Munch laughing.
"We will leave you two to, erm... 'Mingle' " munch says ,again, with hand gestures.
"Oh my god!" Liv says, with her little laugh, that I love so much.
Munch and Finn leave the roof and it's just us two again.
"Liv, what was that?" I ask, I don't really believe what had just happened. Am I imagining this, us? Imagining is being here right now?
"I have wanted to do that for so long" she replies, her smile so perfect.
"So have I" I say. I shouldn't look into her eyes, I feel like she can see into my soul. If she looks into my eyes, she will see how I feel about her. And it's more than I'm letting out. This woman, I would die for her, I would take a bullet for her.
"But you said, we could never be together" I add. I don't really want to know her response.
"I didn't know that you felt the same way. I thought that you had a thing for Casey!" She says.
"Casey! Hell no!" I reply.
"Hey. Casey is my best friend! Leave her alone!" She says, I a little kid voice.
"No I just mean.. She isn't you" I say.
She smiles. Her fringe falls across her face covering her eyes. I move it and tuck it behind her ear.

The rest of the day went perfectly. I feel a whole lot lighter now I have everything off of my chest. I couldn't be more relived that she feels the same way. I couldn't be more happy.

"Benson, Stabler. Take the interigation, munch Finn, take the girl" captain says.
He doesn't know about what happened between me and Liv. I mean unless the Munch-Finn gossip express way hadn't told him, then I suppose he doesn't know.
I follow Liv into the interigation room. I see a middle aged man sitting on a chair looking smug. Olivia takes a seat opposite him and I stand in the corner with my arms folded.
She,as usual gets straight to the point.
"We're were you Tuesday night?" She asks leaning forward.
"I was out" he replies staring down her blouse.
She moves back into the chair, when she notices him staring.
"Out where?" She asks
"With a girl" he replies, he stares at her and bites his lip.
I look at the photos of the victims; tall, brown hair, tanned, in their late 30's!
"A girl? Where were you with that girl?" She asks
"Wow! You really wanna know my business huh?" He asks
"Yeah. Yeah i do" she says standing. She walks over to him and sits on the table in front of him.
"Did you rape Jade Brown, and Ashly James, and Regina Grass?" She asks
"Rape? What? No! Thoses whores wanted it!" He says.
This always rattled me. The perp saying that the vics wanted it. The vic never want it.
"What did they want?" She whispers. I see that she had bit her lip. She was good at her job, she knew exactly how to get a confession.
"They wanted me to do them! And I bet you would enjoy it just as much as they did!" He says going to run his hands through her hair.
I run over to him, grab him and slam him up the wall.
"Apologise" I shout
"What for! She looks like she is the kinda girl that would like it!" He taunts again.
That's it.
I punch him in the face. "APOLOGIES! NOW" I yell in his face.
"Okay okay. I'm sorry!" He says kinda sarcastically.
I slam him against the walls again, then let him go.
I walk out. I couldn't stand it. The way the perps treat her. They treat her like shit! The way they talk to her. It's discussing.
I feel Olivia's warm hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, what's up?" She asks, so sweetly
"Are you okay?" I ask. I turn around and face her.
"Yeah I'm fine! But you aren't! Do you want to talk about it?" She asks.
"No" i reply
"Come on el! It will help. That's what you always tell me!" She says.
She was right. Then again, she is always right. I give in to her perfect ways and let her take me into an empty interigation room and locks the door. She closes the blinds and pulls out a chair.
I sit down with her opposite me.
"El, what's going on?" She asks placing her hands on my hands, that are on my knees.
"I.. I just didn't like the way he spoke to you" I say.
"El! It's okay it doesn't bother me!" She says smiling.
"It bothers me! It had always bothered me! No one should treat you like that" I say smiling.
"El, you are so sweet. But seriously, it's okay. Stop worrying" she says.
"Okay" I say. I stand up and so does she.
"Thanks though el" she says walking towards the door. She unlocks it and turns around. She smiles at me and leaves.
I walk out a few minutes after, I needed to gather my thoughts.
When I do walk out I see captain walking my way.
Shit!
"Elliot is everything okay?" He asks
"Yeah cap, it's sorted" I say. I look over to Olivia who is making some coffee. I smile at the sight of her perfect self, acting so innocent.
She is so adorable and she doesn't even know it. I see Finn walk over to her and he says somethings to make her laugh.
I can't help feeling jealous, but the sound of her laugh was enough to replace that feeling...
"Elliot..earth to Elliot!" I see his hands waving over my face.
"What?" I ask. I got lost in my thoughts.
"Elliot! What were you staring at?" He asks moving over and a lining his eyes with the direction mine were.
"Ohhh.." He says, he must have noticed, that my eyes were in Liv's direction.
