This one, again, by Tess. She is literally the best person ever for sending short stories. (Also she has amazing teachers that assign creative writing assignments).   So, the assignment this time is to write about the pigs not doing any work on Animal Farm in the POV of Benjamin the Donkey or Boxer the horse. SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS BOOK THIS ESSAY MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM THE BOOK "Animal Farm" by George Orwell (I recommend this book, by the way)

~Scar

Idiots. All of them. I think I must be the only one to see it. It's the same here on the farm, if not worse than when Jones was here. I'm sure working a lot more. The other animals question me- "Are you happier now that Jones is gone?" I give them cryptic answers like "Donkeys live a long time. None of you has ever seen a dead donkey." Hmph. The pigs, our "just leaders" aren't even working. How blind can the other idiots on this godforsaken farm be? Thinking they are free. They bound themselves to this cause. It's just a different kind of slavery, and the pigs use that to their advantage. It's exactly the same as before, and every single other animal is too thick to see that the pigs are now our masters. They dictate us, and the only difference now is that the pigs don't help us at all, other than to yap and run their mouths "trying to encourage us".

Ugh,

Benjamin
