You and Newt were lying on the ground staring up at the sky. It was dark but you pictured stars in the sky, even though there were no stars.

"I want to see stars one day," you say. You look over at him, who smiles and nods a little.

"One day," he replies to you. "One day."

He looks back at the sky, as the light of the fire near by light up the outline of his face.

You smile and turn away to the sky. The dark and empty sky.

You heard footsteps coming up to you and Newt, and looked up, propping yourself up on your elbows. It was Thomas, the newest Greenie. He came last night. Things were getting weird with him, though. Another girl came up earlier today. She's in a weird coma in the Homestead.

"Hey, Thomas," you said. He smiled and stopped, looking down at you. Newt sat up, leaning up on his arms.

"Hey, Maya," Thomas replied. He was smiling a huge smile, looking down at you, then looking at Newt.

Newt looked down at you and then at Thomas.

"Hey, Tommy," Newt said.

Thomas waved a little and smiled at Newt, looking behind you guys to the fire not too far away.

"You know what," Newt said. "I have to get going. Alby's gonna want to take a look at that girl in the coma. I'll talk to you guys later."

He looks over at you, smiling a little and gets up, walking away.

You looked at Thomas, smiling a little bit. He sat down on the other side of you, looking out at the tress. You always liked the view of the trees.

"So," Thomas said. You smiled at the Greenie and looked back at the trees.

"So, what?" You laughed.

He laughed a little shrugging. You didn't know why he was smiling so much. I mean, it was his first real day in a huge maze full of crazy things and crazy people. But yet, here he was. Smiling like an idiot.

"You're beautiful, you know that?" Thomas said.

You smiled again, looking down in embarrassment.

"Thank you, Thomas."

He smiled more and then looked back at the trees. You two sat there for a while, thinking about what life might bring you.

You turned to Thomas, catching him looking at you. He wasn't smiling that much, just a small little curve of his lips.

He was closer than he was, too. Then he got even closer, then his lips hit yours. You didn't know what to do. You liked Thomas, but not like this. You loved Newt.

...Newt...

You pulled away from him, staring at him in shock. He stared back at you, his smile gone when he saw your face.

"What the shuck, Thomas? You can't just... you just..." You sighed and ran your hand through your blonde hair.

"I'm- I'm sorry... I didn't mean..."

You sighed and got up, looking back at Thomas who just looked at the ground. You didn't want him to kiss you, but you didn't want to hurt his feelings.

You turned to walk away, but didn't get very far until you saw Newt standing by the fire, looking at you, then Thomas, then back to you, a confused look on his face.

You put your head down then walked faster toward the trees.

Your brother, Chuck, ran up to you as you walked.

"Hey, Maya!" He said cheerfully. You loved Chuck. You always felt as though you needed to protect him.

"Hi, Chuck." You kept walking, trying to get away from everyone and everything as quickly as possible.

"What's a matter?"

"Nothing."

"Then why do you look all shaken up?"

You didn't want to tell him, mostly because you knew he had a big mouth, but you needed to tell somebody.

You turned suddenly, stopping right in front of Chuck. He was shorter than you were, so he was looking up at you.

"Okay, I'll tell you. But you have to promise you won't tell anybody."

He nodded and you bent down in front of him.

"Okay, so you know Thomas, right?"

He nods.

"Well, he kissed me, but I don't like him like that and I know Newt had to see it, or maybe he didn't... No he had to." You sighed, resting your head in your hands.

"How am I supposed to deal with this?"

Chuck looked confused, but tried to help you with the best advice possible.

"Um... well maybe you should talk to him and Newt. Maybe you guys can work it out."

You nodded knowing that you might just have to do that. You didn't want to talk to either of them, though. You just wanted to sit there in the trees and sleep all day.

But you didn't.

You got up and walked over to the fire, where Newt sat on a log, looking blankly at the flame in front of him.

"Hey," you said. He didn't turn around, but he knew it was you.

"Hi," He said, sighing.

You sat next to him, the fire brightening his face.

"You saw didn't you."

He nodded, but didn't say anything.

"Listen, I'm sorry I didn't want him to kiss me, he just-"

"I know," He said, cutting you off. "Thomas told me. He said it was his fault. He just liked you, and he didn't know about us being together. It's alright."

You smiled and looked behind Newt at Thomas. He stood there, and smiled a friendly smile at you. You didn't think that he was such a bad guy.

He was clueless, but not bad.

And you were fine with that.

A/N

Finished! (with this one)

I'm probably going to get these done today, unless I just completely forget, or this house catches on fire.

Hopefully neither of those things will happen.

I hope you all loved it! (I know it was a weird ending but I'm at a friends house so I can use her computer to get these done faster and I have to go home later, so I'm trying my best to finish them.

I think I have like... two more left? Maybe 3?

Idk.

Anywhooooo, I will update in the next couple of minutes. Byyyyye! :D
