Let the magic begin

Animila's Pov (A year later)

*Reminder Alric is now 20. Animila is now 21. The twins are 20. Blaze is 22. Aqua is 19.*

After the day I woke up and Alric took me to see everyone, everything calmed down.

The spell on my room was taken off so now I can leave whenever I want. The chains came off too. I get to see my friends all day every day. We joke around a lot. The twins and I play pranks again.

Today the twins and I are going to prank Alric. We always prank Aqua and Blaze so I suggested Alric. The twins agreed without a moment's hesitation.

"You guys ready?" I ask.

"Ready." They say.

I climb up the wall and on to a ledge. There I wait with cake frosting, sprinkles, and whip cream. I give them the thumbs up and Flora goes to do her part. It only takes a few seconds until I hear screaming.

I see Flora running and Alric behind her. Flora gives Fauna the cue and Fauna sends a vine to grab Alric's ankle. Alric falls and as he's falling I drop everything on him.

I jump down and land perfectly on my feet. The twins and I stare laughing really hard because he's covered.

"You girls think that's funny huh." He says getting up wiping frosting from his eyes.

We immediately stop laughing.

"Uh oh." The twins say.

"RUN!" I say making a fast break.

We run as fast as we can as Alric chases us around. He's really fast. The twins end up hiding leaving me to be chased by him. I try to run faster but he ends up pouncing on me, successfully pinning me down.

"So you girls played a prank on me huh. Let me guess it was your idea." He says looking down to me.

"Well you see we had to prank someone and you are a good choice. Look on the bright side you look like a pretty cake." I say chuckling.

"Oh yeah well I'm getting you back for this." He says.

"Yeah right, how." I say.

Alric can't play a prank on me. I'm like the queen of pranks.

"By doing this." He says and starts tickling me.

I start laughing like crazy. He laughs with me.

"Please stop... I can't breathe... ALRIC!" I say laughing.

"Not until you admit I'm the best." He says tickling me more.

"YOU'RE THE BEST NOW STOP ALRIC." I say laughing so much my side hurts.

He stops and gets off of me. He lifts me up easily.

"That wasn't fair. You tickled me. And I'm the cat, I do the pouncing." I say with a fake pout.

"I'll remember that next time but you also remember that I'll tickle you if you prank me again." He says smiling.

"I'll take the risk, it's worth it. You totally look so funny." I say.

"I guess I do." He says with a chuckle.

"I do believe these are yours."

I turn to see Blaze holding Flora and Fauna over his shoulders and Aqua behind him.

"Yeah those sellouts are mine." I say.

"We didn't sell you out we just left you to be chased since you're faster than us." Flora says.

"Sure." I say.

Blaze sets them down and I stick out my tongue at them.

"Wow Alric it looks like they got you good." Aqua says.

"Yeah we did." We say high five-ing each other.

"Yeah but now I kinda want cake." Fauna says.

Alric rolls his eyes jokingly and waves his hand. A slice of cake appears in Fauna hand.

"Yay." She says.

She happily eats her cake, which seems to be strawberry cake.

I smile at Alric for being nice. It took sometime but I think we all are back to being good friends. After Alric explained to us one day of what happened when we were younger we forgave him for everything. It was only after the third year of me hating him did he really try to control some of the overwhelming power he had so he could be sane.

Now he's doing really well at being sane. Though I know when we're not around he's still very much crazy and "evil".

I step closer to him and kiss his cheek.

"Yup you taste sweet." I say swiping frosting off with my finger.

"Sure only kiss me for the frosting." He says.

"Aww don't be jealous of the frosting. I picked out a good one on purpose." I joke.

He snaps his fingers and he's all cleaned up.

"That's better. Now come on Animila, I would like to talk to you." He says with a gentle smile.

I turn to the others and I see a big smile on the twins and Aqua. I swear I can see hearts in Aqua's eyes. Weird. Blaze gives me a small smile.

Am I dying or something?

Alric grabs my hand softly and leads me away. He leads me down a hallway I never been down. Surprisingly it leads to a small greenhouse. Flowers are everywhere along with every fruit and vegetable known. This is truly magic.

We walk over to a bench and sit.

"So what's going on?" I ask.

"Do you like the flowers?" He asks.

I look at him confused but I answer.

"Yes they're gorgeous. Especially the purple ones." I say.

"They remind me of your eyes." He says.

I blush.

"Animila I know we've been through some hard times and most of it was my fault. I know I've screwed up royally with you. But I want you to know I love you more than life itself. I love you more than any amount of power I could gain and I never want you to leave me." He says.

He gets down on one knee and opens a box and a beautiful diamond ring is in it. I gasp and cover my mouth.

"So would you Animila make me the happiest person alive and marry me?" Alric asks.

I feel tears flow from eyes.

"Yes." I say so happy.

"Yes I will marry you." I say with a chuckle.

Alric grins and slides the ring on my finger. I look at the ring and give a half chuckle half sob.

I hug him tightly. He pulls me away and gives me the sweetest kiss on my lips.

I'm getting married.
