Chapter 6

A/N: Before I start, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for not updating sooner. I have had so much going on lately and I have been overseas for three weeks (I only got back last week) and I didn't get much writing done whilst I was over there. I know it has been months since I updated, and I apologise for that, but the ideas and writing I had weren't ready for publishing, and I needed to sort them out so they would flow before I published them. Well, enough of me rambling. I hope you enjoy the chapter :)

JAKE'S POV

I was really excited because Ella was going to meet us in LA when we got back. I couldn't wait to see her. Jinxx, Sam, Sammi, and Lily have agreed that Sam is going to stay at Jinxx's place for a while so he can keep an eye on her. She'll go back and live with Lily at some point but she's staying with Jinxx just for a couple of weeks while she's getting over...the incident. Our tour bus dropped us off at our various houses and finally I was dropped off at mine.

SAMMI'S POV

I couldn't wait until Jinxx got home. I haven't seen him in 8 months and I can't wait. I also cannot wait to meet my new sister-in-law. From what I have heard, she is awesome. Just then, I heard the doorbell ring. I flew up from where I was sitting and eagerly opened the door. I saw Jinxx and Sam standing there. I immediately latched myself onto Jinxx and kissed him for all I was worth. After a moment, we parted and I looked into his eyes. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Sam smiling at both of us, but in her eyes was sadness. It wasn't because her brother was happy, no, it was something else, something I couldn't identify. I decided to push the thought aside while I greeted them both. I turned to Sam.
"Hi Sam, I'm Sammi, Jinxx's wife." I said, offering her my hand to shake. She accepted and shook it.
"Oh, I know who you are. Loverboy here won't stop talking about you." She said tilting her head towards Jinxx. He blushed and Sam smirked. I laughed.
"I know we're going to be great friends." I said. She smiled.
"I sure hope so." She said.
"Let me have a look at you." I said. I heard Jinxx chuckle next to me. I tilted my head to the side and studied her. She was about my height, and she did look very much like Jinxx: she had exactly the same eyes, scarily similar facial features, same colour hair, and same fringe-line. "Wow. You do look scarily like Jinxx."
"She's like a female version of me. She has the same personality and everything. Only thing that is different between us is that she can play more instruments than I can, and the fact that she's a girl." He said. I raised my eyebrows. Wow.
"Wow." I said. "Well, my dearest Jinxx and Samantha, let's go inside shall we?" I suggested. They both nodded and we went inside. I couldn't wait to get to know Sam better. I have a feeling we're going to be really close.

SAM'S POV

I was so happy to meet Sammi. I have a feeling we're going to be really close. I was kindof sad when I saw Sammi and Jinxx kissing though. It wasn't because they were both over the moon in happiness and they make the cutest couple ever to walk the Earth, it was because I missed having someone to love me as much as they love each other. I have given up on love. All of the boyfriends that I have had have cheated on me and broken my heart. No one except Lily knows this, I haven't even told Jinxx or Jake.

I followed them inside and Sammi showed me to my room.
"This is going to be your room. I'm sorry I couldn't make it up nicely for you but it was such short notice." Sammi said a little sadly. I pulled her into a hug.
"It's perfect. Thank you for everything." I said. She pulled away and smiled.
"You're welcome. If you every need anyone to talk to or even just a friend, you can always, always come to me. I am and always will be here for you if you need me." She said, a smile on her face.
"Thank you Sammi. I really appreciate it." I said.
"Can I ask you something?" Sammi asked suddenly.
"Sure. What is it?" I asked.
"You had a sad look in your eyes when you saw Jinxx and I kissing. I know it wasn't because you weren't happy for us, it was something else. Something I can't quite figure out." She said. I raised my eyebrows, wow, she was very observant.
"Ok. I'll tell you what it is, but you mustn't tell anyone else. The only other person who knows this is Lily. I haven't even told Jinxx or Jake." I said. She nodded.
"Why Jake?" Sammi asked.
"He's like a second brother to me. We got really close over the tour. But not as close as Jinxx, Lily, and I". I explained. She nodded in understanding and indicated for me to continue.
"The reason I was a little bit sad wasn't because of you two. I think you and Jinxx make the cutest couple ever. It was because I miss having someone to love me as much as you two love each other. To be honest, I have given up on love. All of the boyfriends that I have had have cheated on me, abused me, or broken my heart in some other way. They never change." I said, a single tear trickling down my face. "Also, my adoptive parents would tell me I was worthless, unwanted, and no one would ever love me." I said quietly. "They were right." I whispered, more tears trickling down my face.
