Please Don't Go

"Cherish," Newt called out after the girl that was now walking away from him.

"What Newt?" She yells back not stopping," I have a job to do!"

"I know but I'm sorry please just look at me!" He begs grabbing her shoulder pulling her back so she couldn't grab her runners pack. "Please don't go out there!"

"Why not? It's my job I have to go," she says not meeting his eyes.

"I just have a bad feeling about you going out today," he says holding onto her arm, his eyes pleading," please just don't go."

"Newt why do you even care? All you do is push me away. Why should me going out there matter? Just think of it as me getting farther away from you since that's what you seem to want!" She snaps ripping her arm from him as she grabs her pack. She takes of toward the doors leaving Newt behind.

She runs her pattern when all of a sudden a door opens and a griever comes out. "Shit," she mumbles as she sprints for her life. The griever hot on her heels. It's metal arm reaches out and grabs her foot making her fall to the ground. It's stinger inching it's way out toward her leg.

"AHH," she yells out in pain. The griever lets out a low moan before throwing her into the wall.

"I have to get back to the Glade," she says clenching her teeth. She slowly drags her self back refusing to pas out. She's soaked in blood from when she hit the wall.

As soon as 5:30 hits she finally drug her self across the threshold of the doors and passes out.

"Cherish! Cherish! CHERISH!" Someone yells repeatedly," please don't go. I can't lose you! I love you to much to lose you! Please stay here. I won't push you away anymore! Please just please stay!" He continues yelling out his face on her chest staining her shirt with tears. "Its thanks to you I'm still here so please stay here for me."

"N-newt?" she asks barely cracking her eyes open.

"CHERISH!" He yells out and kisses her," I love you! Please don't leave me! Don't do something so dangerous again! Please don't ever go back into the maze. I can't lose you!"

"Okay Newt I won't. I promise. I love you, too."
