Kaitlyn's POV
I watched as his car drove away. Tears rolling down my face. I can't believe I'll never see him again. I walk into my room, remembering all the memories we had here.
*Flashback*
"Come on, Jace, give it back!" I screamed, reaching for my phone in his hand.
"No, this getting interesting." Jace said, scrolling through my tumblr and seeing various posts about Teen Wolf and Supernatural. Jace held my phone in the air. I tried jumping for it but I'm too short. "Shorty." Jace said, giving me my phone back.
"Jerk!" I said, jokingly.
"I need to tell you something," Jace declared, "A couple days ago, I auditioned for a role in a Disney show and I got the part."
"That's amazing! I'm so happy for you!" I started jumping up and down on the bed, but as soon as I realized that Jace wasn't, I stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"In order for me to get the part, me and my family have to move."
I can't believe this is happening. My best friend is leaving. "You're moving?" I asked, hoping there would be a different answer.
"Yes, I'm moving to California." His eyes started tearing up.
"Hey, don't cry. You're going to be an amazing actor, I know it. Take the part. Don't let me stop you." I said, encouragingly.
"I'm going to miss you so much. Promise me that you'll visit me in LA."
"I promise."
