Kaitlyn's POV
It's been fours years since the last time I've seen Jace. We talked for a while but then he got busy with auditions and acting. I miss talking to him everyday, to be honest. It's just been different around the house.
I got out of bed after checking my Instagram and Twitter. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs.
I walked in on my parents whispering about something. They usually whisper about money and house troubles just because they don't want my to get worried. I brushed it off anyway. I got some waffles and topped it off with strawberries and whipped cream. I poured me a glass of orange juice.
"So what are you talking about?" I asked, sipping my orange juice.
"Ohhhh, nothing," my mom said, "just about how your dad got a job in Los Angeles and we'll probably have to move there..."
"Are you serious?" I said, spitting my orange juice out of my mouth.
"Yeah, but we have to leave in the next month though. Your dad's job starts the beginning of March."
At that moment, I ran up to my parents and gave them the biggest hug ever. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I screamed, jumping up and down.
