Kaitlyn's POV
I started packing my bags. Considering that I had to pack everything, I grabbed multiple bags. I started packing my clothes then packed my bedding. The rest I put into boxes.
"Kaitlyn, can you come to the store with me?" my mom yelled from downstairs.
"Sure, one sec" I replied. I grabbed my shoes and met her in the car.
*In the car*
My mom and I don't usually talk in the car, but I decided that I'll start the conversation.
"So why did you want me to come with you?" I asked.
"Well, I wanted to see what you thought about moving."
"I'm really excited about it."
"Why?"
"Because we're in LA and we might run into famous people."
"Famous people like, the one and only, Jace Norman?"
That name gave me chills. We haven't talked in forever.
"I haven't really thought about it, but it would be nice if I could see him again..."
We finally arrived at the store. I picked up some snacks and drinks while my mom got some fruits and vegetables. We checked out and walked out to the car. I helped her put the groceries in the car and drove home.
*At Home*
It's kinda sad how Jace and I don't talk anymore. We used to be so close, but now we don't talk. I miss talking to him. I decided to text him after all these years.
Kaitlyn: Hey Jace, it's Kaitlyn. I just wanted you to know that my dad got a job in LA and we're moving there next month. Hopefully we can hang out?
I sent it. My heart starting beating super fast, waiting for him to respond. The three dots in the corner popped up. At that moment, my heart beated out of my chest.
Jace: Who is this?
