Today was the last day of the week. I'm happy we don't do weekends so I can take a break and sleep in. Waking up early in the morning to make these videos for the next day really screws me over. 'What's the point of doing it in the morning anyways? Can't we do them in the evening?' I thought to myself not realizing Rhett was having a full on conversation with me.
'Huh? What?' I became startled and blinked to him.
Rhett sighed and chuckled a little, 'Were you not listening this whole time?'
'I'm sorry man. I've just been extremely out of it lately.' I shrugged.
'It's fine man, as I was saying, Jessie was wondering if you and Christy wanted to take the kids to the park on Saturday. Locke and Shephard have been annoying the heck out of us about the new play structure they just built.' Rhett stated.
'Oh yeah, they've been building this playground for months now. It's finally up?' I thought to myself.
I told him I'll ask Christy and text him the answer later. I got to my car and proceeded to head home.
Around 2pm I was greeded by my kids asking me how work was and my dog barking in excitment.
I told them they'll have to wait for the episode. They weren't really happy about that. I kissed Christy on the cheek, while making small talk about our days, also about Saturday.
I texted Rhett before I headed to sleep, telling him the park is still a go. And the kids can't wait.
