Parting Glass-A Laxus Love Story

Chapter Two

>> Annisa's Point of View

Amy dragged me away to meet a girl named Canna.  When I saw her she looked strangely like me.  "Hi!  This is Annisa, she's the same age as you.  Wow you guys are a lot alike, I wonder if you guys are twins?" She wondered out loud.  "Hi, I'm Canna.  I'm sorry for Amy, but ya never know.  So what's your birthday and mother?"   My mom put on the my orphanage papers that I have a twin sister.

"Cornelia Alberona." We both said at the same time. Then both out mouths began to open a bit.

"Finally, now I know that I actually am pretty!" Canna said and I laughed a little. "Thanks, you're far prettier." I said and she shook her head. "Oi, we're twins. Let's call it a draw, we're both as pretty as the other person." She said and took a drink.

>>Time Skip: 3 weeks

I've become pretty close with Natsu, Erza, Mira, Levy and Laxus. But I'm super close with Canna. I even told her that I have a bit of a crush on someone and we took a couple jobs together. It's like we've known each other for ever.

"I say go take a job with him." Canna told me looking over to Amy and Laxus talking. "No way, I can't. He's far stronger than me. Plus I think Amy likes him." I told her and she burst out laughing. "Haven't you heard her talking about how she's going to plan your guy's wedding." She told me and I turned bright red.

"Here give me a shot." I said and she handed me her glass I took a big gulp of it and sighed. "I'm gonna do it."

"Wow, Annisa-chan I've never seen you drink before...." Canna commented drinking out of a bottle. "Yeah, I rarely drink and if I do it's Pinot Noir usually."

"Well, damn miss fancy wine." She said and I laughed a little, and I began to walk over there.

"Attention brats!" Master yelled and we all settled down and I walked all the way over to Laxus. "Hey." I lightly said and smiled at him, my eyes closing when I smiled. When my eyes opened again Laxus was blushing slightly and waving at me. He turned his attention of to Master when he cleared his throat and it began to get quiet. All of a sudden Amy was right next to me, causing me to jump and squeal.

"Okay, who scared Annisa this time?" Laxus asked turning and looking at me while my younger sister whom was taller than me laughed. Laxus smirked and turned back to Master.

"He could see down your shirt." Amy whispered in my ear and I sighed and attempted to look down my shirt. "I hardly see anything." I said and looked to her.

"Awww....you're so cute, you just can't see due to your boobs being in your face. But you being as close as you were and him being so much taller he had a straight shoot down you shirt, even if he didn't want to look down your shirt...but he did, he's totally interested."

"Mhm...are you two done talking, then I'll begin." I heard Master say, it was directed at us. "Sorry Gramps, we were talking about like really important things... Like....like life and death." Amy said while shaking her head yes and no while talking and making weird hand gestures like usual.

"Care to inform us?" Gramps asked and I glanced over at her. Don't..you..dare..

"Well, people can see down her shirt very easily, and she didn't know that so...I decided to tell her.  Yeah to all you people looking down, she may not know but I do." She growled, and many people backed away while I was bright red banging my head on her arm.

"Uh...anyway..... We have the annual animal wash! Many newbies ask what this is? Well it's when we take the dogs from the dog pound and wash them all up and then try to find them owners." Master said and I smiled, I love animals. There was a dog at the orphanage, we would take turns walking him and feeding him and bathing him, his name was Jake. He was a golden retriever.

"Sorry for the short notice it's in an hour...you may want swim suits..." Master said and almost everyone quickly ran out to get ready.

>>Laxus's Point of View

When Gramps was talking about the stupid dog thing, Annisa's face lit up but was dragged out by Amy. "Laxus..." Gramps said I turned. "Your mood as changed you seem different, is everything alright?" Gramps asked jumping up next to me. "Yeah, what makes you think that?" I asked looking over at him. "You usually leave after a couple of days of being here, and gone for several weeks sometimes months. You seems to be less brutal too." Gramps told me and I realized that I have been here for a large amount of times.

"Are you going to go to the dog wash?" Gramps asked and I sighed. "Maybe." I told him and began to walk out. "You'll want to decide quickly." He said and I walked out. I need to spend more time with Annisa, to get her on my side for the plan. I don't care to hurt her and she's more powerful than she thinks.

"Hey, Annisa. Do you want to go on a mission?" I asked her when saw I saw her walking to the guild.

"Yeah, I was going to the animal thing...but I remembered that I'm allergic." She said and rolled her eyes. "I was thinking maybe this one." I said and pulled out the mission.

"Why does it have the red S stamp on it, what does that mean?" She asked and I shook my head. "Nothing, you don't need to worry about it." I said and she nodded her head. "Sure, I'm up for a mission." She said and we walked over to Mira to get signed up as doing this one. I stood behind Annisa, Mira looked at the paper and saw the S class and I put my finger to my lips and she nodded.

"Okay, you're all ready, see you in a little while." Mira said and we headed out. "Have you learned everyone's name yet?" I asked and she thought for a moment.

"Well, Natsu is flame guy, Gray is ice, Erza is swords, Max is sand, Mira is beats thing along with Elfman. Um...I can't really think of anyone else." I was about to mention the Thunder Tribe, but I realized that they haven't been in town.

"Nice. So is it weird all of a sudden having a twin sister?" I asked and she shook her head. "Well...I'm gonna tell you a secret. Guildarts is my Father. I've already trained with him and he treats me like his daughter so that part of it isn't too weird. But the twin sister...that's different, because I can really connect with her." She thought for a moment.

"She's kinda like the loud tall version of me who loves drinking, she reminds me of my younger self a bit, besides the tall part. I feel like she completes me in a sisterly way." She told me and I nodded my head.

"Do you have siblings?" She asked and I shook my head. "No, if I did I'd probably end up killing them." I told her and she laughed a bit. "Can I see the request form?" She asked and I pulled it out of my coat and handed it to her. She looked over it for a moment and then shivered, did I miss something, I mean I didn't look over it really.

"What?" I asked and she looked up to me. "It's cold there, I can't retain body heat...." She told me and I burst out laughing. "We have to take the train too, but I like that part..." She said and I stopped laughing. "So that's why we're here." She said and I realized that we were at the train station. We were about to get on the train...damnit.

"How did we get here so fast and I didn't realize it?" I wondered out loud. "Maybe you weren't paying attention. And just followed me." She said and we got on. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not a full dragon slayer, but one thing I was sure of- this was going to be a very long train ride...
