Parting Glass-A Laxus Love Story

Chapter Six

I looked at her in the hospital bed the only noise was the heart monitor quietly beeping.  I went over and grabbed her hand, she had the shit beat out of her.  Her lip was busted, there's a giant bruise on the side of her stomach and neck, while other small ones covered her body. The end of her hair had turned a bit red due to being in her own blood. Her shoulder had been dislocated and her knee was all busted up and her ACL was torn.

She's healing pretty quickly despite all of this, it was due to her power, we think before she was hit she pulled out a mirror so she could see her self and said heal.  Only due to the glass mirror shards that occupied her body. 

"Laxus."  I turned when I heard Gramp's voice.  "What?" I asked it coming out sharper than I meant it to.  "You can't stay with her forever and Porlyusica needs to come look at her."  Gramps spoke and I let go of her hand and walked out.

The time had come, I will take over Fairy Tail, this is bullshit.  Gramps let Gajeel, the guy who beat up Annisa, into the guild.  Then while I was teaching him a lesson Levy stopped me... Damnit...

"Please Laxus it's not just your Grandfather, it's Annisa, she woke up and we told her what's going up and she had a heart attack! Please Laxus!!" Levy yelled and Fairy Law stopped.  I looked at my hands and remembered Annisa's little hands...what am I doing she wouldn't want this...  I feel to my knees and ran my fingers through my hair and my Dragon Slayer mode disappeared. 

"Oh...so they actually are dating...." I heard Natsu say and giggle...idiot...

"Where are they?" I asked and stood up and walked to Levy once I got my thoughts together. "They're together in the hospital." Levy said and I began to walk to her. "Yay!!! Normal Laxus is back!!" Natsu cheered jumping up and down. "Laxus...why did you do this?" Levy quietly said and I sighed. "I've always been known as Fairy Tail's Master grandson, Annisa is the only person who has treated me separate from him."

"What!!!!" They all yelled in unison. "Laxus, I haven't been here long but I know no one thinks about you that way, we all think you're very strong. That's it, sure you're his grandson but no one thinks of you as anything different." Gajeel said and I looked down, guilt filling my mind. "Laxus. When ever I think of the strongest wizard I think of you, not the master's grandson. If we're ever in a fix we go to you because you're very powerful and can defeat monsters Erza can't and Guildarts is never here." Levy said and I thought of Annisa, I can see why they're friends.

"Laxus...

WILL YOU FIGHT ME LATER!!!" Natsu yelled and I slammed him into the ground. "Or nah." Levy said walking around him and Gajeel laughed with me. I grabbed him by his shoulder and pulled him out of the ground.

"Levy...Laxus....guys come quick!"  We looked and saw....er....uh....girl....BISCA, outside the guild and we ran in. We went to the infirmary. 

"Annisa..."  She was laying in a different bed and all the cords had been removed she was nearly awake but trying, I could tell. I looked around and saw Gramps walking around. "I thought you were hurt." I said and shook his head in a disapproving matter.

"Annisa had woken up and healed me." He said and I glanced back over at her. I looked up and saw Amy holding Anna's hand.

"I think we should leave the two of them." Amy said letting go of her hand as everyone began to walk out. "Careful, you hurt her I'm pretty sure we'll kill you. She's very fragile right now and you don't really know your own strength, watch it." She said walking past me. Once everyone was out I walked over to Annisa and she opened her eyes.

"You were awake?" I asked and she sighed. "I wanted them to leave us. Laxus...what'd you do?" She asked in a calm and quiet voice looking at her lap. "I started a war in Fairy Tail. Fairy vs Fairy, mixing the citizen's in. I..."

"That's enough I don't want to hear anymore. I wasn't expecting to hear from Amy that you were killing everyone. That's all I was told...I have a few heart problems. (only if I use my magic too much) I had started to have a panic attack and then a heart attack.  I know I'm messed up."  She told me and I softly chuckled.

"I was planning on yelling at you once you woke up but can't really now."  I said and she looked confused. "You got beat up by Gajeel and from what I heard you let it happen, you jumped out in front of a canon and just now you healed Gramps draining your magic power!" I told her and she rolled her eyes. 

"Here, I'll explain.

>>Outside The a Door: Levy's Point of View

"What should be Laxus's punishment?" Master asked.

"Take Annisa, separate them..." Erza darkly said.  "No, that would be punishing her when she does so much good.  She's gonna need him too, for support and moving places.  She's still very weak."  Canna said and took another swig.   "What!! We can take care of her!!" Amy retaliated. 

"Can you carry her up and down stairs and just in general around?!" Canna asked slamming her bottle down. "She's super light so probably!" Amy yelled back.  "You don't get it.  He's big enough to do that we're not.  The reason he can is due to her being small, we'd get tired of doing it, he wouldn't." Canna protested and Amy pouted. 

"What if we revoked his S-Class status for 6 months to a year depending on his attitude?" I asked and I got surprised looks.

"I think we should ban him."  Mira said glaring at nothing in particular.  "What!! He was able to stop himself before casting Fairy Law, he didn't even hurt us too much.  Everyone in the guild beat up each other it was Freed's runes too, Eve is the one who froze the girls too!" Natsu yelled jumping up.

"Yeah, no one is too injured.  I agree with Salamander." Gajeel said nodding his head. 

"I like Levy's idea."  Gramps said and I look to him surprised. 

"Let's vote.  This is a guild matter we should all get a say.  To make this anonymous everyone close their eyes and face me in straight line."  Master spoke and I stood next to Gajeel, closing my eyes.

"Here are your options- Banning Laxus, taking Annisa away, Revoking S-class status for 6 months to a year."

"All in favor of banning Laxus raise your hand."  Mira and Erza raised their hands.  "All in favor of taking Annisa away."  Amy raised her hand.  "Taking away S-Class status temporarily."  I said and everyone else raised their hands.

"It's been decided, Laxus's S-Class status will be taken temporarily."
