Sergio holds me close and lays a hand on my cheek, “you were really good.”
“You were great,” I say.
His hand moves to my ear and rubs behind it. “I didn’t want to stop.”
“I did, I couldn’t take anymore,” I look down, embarrassed that I wasn’t able to keep up with him.
“I understand,” he says, hooking his finger under my chin and making me look at him. “It was your first time. I wasn’t the one being stretched.” He smiles at me and chuckles a little at his own joke.
I laugh at him but then it falls short. Doubts filling my mind.
“I know what you’re thinking, why would I want you?”
I nod, pulling the covers round myself tighter in nerves.
“Because you are much more than a target. Much more. You’re a girl that has a lot going for you. I know you can do great things. You just need a guide … me.”
I look at him, hope in my eyes, “You’ll teach me?”
He nods, “might get difficult. But hey, I’ve been experimented on three times. I can manage.”
I laugh and trace his tattoo, one thing we have in common, “I love how you and Kotey can joke about that.”
He smiles and rubs my ears, “you’re gorgeous girl.”
“You really think so?”
“Have I lied to you yet?”
I shake my head, realising what the point to that question is.
“Then I think you know the answer to that statement.”
I smile, knowing he would never lie to me, and cuddle into him again. He holds me close and I feel him smile, burying his chin into my hair.
I smile, “have I mentioned that I love you?”
“I think so but I wouldn’t mind hearing it again.”
“I love you.”
He chuckles and hugs me, “as do I.”
I smile, “what now teach?”
“Relax. Just enjoy the moment,” his hands rest on my hips and I lean into him.
“If I relax anymore I’ll be asleep,” I retort, but there’s no real bite to it and he knows it.
“You should sleep, you deserve it,” he kisses the back of my neck.
“All I did was have sex with you,” I mumble as my eyes close.
He chuckles and pets my hair, a low rumble rises up from my chest. The closest thing I can describe it as is a purr. Sergio’s hand stills for a second before he laughs, I feel his chest moving against my back.
“Did you just purr?” he laughs and I blush. “Don’t be embarrassed, I found it cute.”
I peek up at him, “cute?”
He nods and kisses my furry cheek. The soft downy fur all over my body doesn’t seem to bother him. Under my breath I start humming a simple tune that my mother sang to me to get me to sleep. I’ve forgotten the words but it’s still comforting. Sergio doesn’t hear and I manage to drift off.
“I really love you Blair, I’ll never hurt you,” he promises, his voice the final piece to the puzzle as I try to fall asleep.
My breathing becomes more even and deeper. I hadn’t realised how tired I was but I do now. I sleep right through the night and when I wake up I can feel the sun on my face.
