Chapter 4 - Unsettled

"So this is where your going?" J-Hope asked as he handed me back a small envelope with my destination on it .

We had sat down at the table and I could just feel a rush of questions coming my way.

So your really going to trust this guy you just met with helping you right now?

"How long are you here for? What are you actually doing here? What's your name? Where are you from?" He blurred out.

"Uh I'm Adriana. I enrolled in a production program here in Seoul, but I'm supposed to be meeting my group but I can't seem to find the apartment I'll be staying--"

Cutting me off he looked down at his phone and went into a deep trance.

"Hold on a second." He said slowly putting up his pointer finger.

Why is he even ask me questions when he's  not even hearing the answers?

"I really should be on my way , it was nice meeting you J-Hop." I said getting up as I reached for my bags.

Quickly looking up , he quickly got up and pushed in his chair.

"Sorry, I got a little carried away , I'm technically supposed to be at a rehearsal for something but I needed a little time off , my uh co-workers keep texting me . And my name is J-Hope."

Way to fuck up the poor boy's name , this is why you're single.

He reached for my bags , while I just stared at him blankly.

"Uh , those are my bags , what are you doing ?" I quickly asked wide-eyed.

"I'm being a gentleman, you have somewhere to be and I'm going to help you find where you belong."

He gestured for the door leading me out. Once we got outside he turned to me with a grin.

"Is that who your looking for?" He said pointing a brunette in a pink dress. I turned to see that it was Nicole fidgeting with her phone outside of a building close to the cafe .

Wow the apartment was literally right next door.

"Yeah haha, well J-hope thank you for the drink and for barely helping me." I laughed .

I turned around thank him and before I knew it he was already down the street running as if he was in a hurry.

"IT WAS NICE TO MEET YOU ADRIANA ! ILL SEE YOU SOON" he yelled as he threw his hand in the air .

How in the hell did he run so fast?

"See you soon?" Cool I became friends with a total weirdo.

"ADRIANA, finally, we've been waiting for you. I was so worried you had gotten kidnapped or something!" she said as she helped me carry the suitcase.

What just happened? I didn't even get to thank the kid.

"I'm here now so that's all that matters! I stopped for a coffee along the way." I said as I scratched my head.

"Well there's no time to get comfortable or anything, we have to meet the directors of some upcoming award show, the Mom Awards or something like that."

"Nic, are you serious cause-"

"MAMA AWARDS, that's what it was ! Anyways , leave it all here and let's go, the group already left without us." She said as she pushed me out the door.
