Chapter 12- Me Before You

Jackson POV

I had finished practice at 9 and decided to stop by the cafe. Coming here was something that looked forward to at the end of the day. A part of me was still hoping to run into Youngji. 

I went straight to the cafe and the waitress already had my order memorized . As I entered , the cafe u couldn't help but look around and see if Youngji was in sight .

Nothing .

I had ordered noodle soup and sat down. The waitress brought over my food and pat my shoulder.

"Here you go, and she's not here today." she said as she placed down my soup.

Midway into my soup , I looked up to see a group of people standing outside of the cafe.

Who are they?

Suddenly, someone familiar passed by.

I saw her walk into the cafe and before she would say, I said hi first.

"Adriana!"

"Nice jacket, are you copying me?" She said she nudged me with her shoulder as she pulled a chair next to me.

"Haha no I think you are. Are you going somewhere? " I asked Adriana. I noticed she had her makeup done and looked as if she was with the group of people who were standing outside.

"I'm going out for drinks with my roommates." She said all bubbly.

"Oh that's nice. I can hear them from outside." I said as I folded my  arms together.

Why was she going out on a weekday?

Suddenly we heard laughing and as we looked outside , J-Hope was there laughing with her friend.

Why the hell is he here?

We have practice tomorrow , he can't go out.

"Well, I think I should go. I just wanted  to say hi." She said as she got up from the table.

"Adriana, here's my number , just in case you need anything tonight . " I said as I handed her a post it with my number .

I forgot to give this to her the other day .

She smiled and left the cafe. J-Hope suddenly glowed when he saw Adriana. Before I knew it , he put his arm around her .

Wait does he know her?

I quickly stood up in anger pushing my chair out. It made quiet a noise in the cafe.

WHY IS HE TOUCHING HER ?

Adriana POV

The 6 of us finally made it to a small bar after about an hour of getting lost. Apparently Bryan had looked at the wrong place, and what not.

We entered a small bar, that was packed. Almost every seat was filled but thankfully Lindsay has called in for a reservation .

The entrance was so tight, that out of a crowd in front of me J-Hope held my hand so I wouldn't 'get lost'. Nicole and the rest were behind me as we finally were led out of the crowds to the tables .

I haven't held a guys hand in years LOL

We had settled in our table quite smoothly . I sat next to J-hope and Mateo and across from Nicole. Once the drinks came to our table everyone got rowdy.

The first drink was fine. We made a toast to the first month being in Seoul then everyone started to make toasts for literally nonsense after every glass of soju we had . Everyone kept drinking and laughing. This was probably one of the best nights I've had so far.

We kept making jokes, talking about classes and J-Hope shared some secrets about being a K-pop idol.

Before we knew it we were all drunk. I remember resting my head on the table until Nicole kicked me underneath the table to keep me awake.

After the fifth toast given around the table , it was my turn.

"Here'ssss a toastttt to never falling hh in luvvv!" I slurred throwing my glass in the air as looked over to see J-Hope's face somewhat confused.

Thankfully no one listened since everyone was making fun of Mateo who had fallen off his chair. Nicole and Lindsay stumbled to the bathroom giggling right before it was J-Hope's turn to make a toast.

"Here's a toast to changing Adriana's mind." He said as he smiled and took a sip of his soju.

Right after he said that , my face hit the floor, I blacked-out. All I could see was black.

Am I dead ?
