Mom and I didn't always have the 'glamorous' life we have now. For a while we were on welfare, without a house. We lived at my grandparents for a while but even then life wasn't all rainbows and glitter. One week after my mom got her first real job we moved out of my grandparents house and my mom got us a small apartment which is where we live now.
Of course my mom has made her way to nearly the top of the righting biss of Orlando. She's been given the opportunity to right at the New York Times but always said that when I go to college, she would take the job but at the moment, to her, I'm more important. Her boss, Allison Cadel is the sweetest little lady we will ever meet. She's about 5'3 with short red hair and small green eyes. We've had her over for dinner a couple of times and her and mom are pretty close friends. She the one who gave my mom her first job.
About four years ago my mom got a call from the office and they told her that she was getting a promotion. One week later mom took me to my favourite restaurant. When I asked her why she was treating my she said that her would be getting a lot more money because the office valued her very much. She has had to put in long night but it'd all worth it for mom and me to be happy and healthy.
"Mrs McLean?"
I jumped at the sound of someone's voice, nobody called me that, it was my grandma name.
"Mrs McLean!"
"Yes?" I jumped out of my desk and come nose to nose with Mr Parker. The class started to laugh.
"Do you know the answer, Mrs McLean?" Mr Parker asked.
"The answer to what, Sir." I said trying to remember what class I was in.
"Take your sit please," he started. "Class, what is it called when a person starts to daydream?" Mr Parker never liked me but this was just plane rude.
The class laugh at me and continued with the lesson.The. Class. Was. Science. Science!!!!!!
