You walked up to the door of your house and slowly grabbed the doorknob and opened the door.Your mother sat in a chair right in front of the door, and once she saw you she covered her mouth with her hand, gasped and began to tear up. "What happened, my child?" She stood up and walked towards you. "Oh I uh- Well. So I was hanging out with my new monster friend, Sans, and Gale came." You looked up and your mother wiped away your tears with her furry white hands. You didn't know you were crying, but her hands felt so nice, that you didn't even care. "Why do these children insist on hurting my angel?" She grabbed your broken arm, which made orange flames begin to form around her hands, and around your arm. You felt your bones shift back into place, and you couldn't help but flinch at the pain. After she healed your arm, you took off the bandages and sling. "So who is this, Sans guy?" She winked and began to laugh. You began to blush a bit. "MOM! HE IS JUST A FRIEND!" You covered your face and she laughed even harder. "From the way your acting, he means much more to ya, doesn't he? Hah well anyway, my child. What type of monster is Sans?" You looked up at your goat mother. "Well, he is a skeleton. He has a brother an- What?" Your mother began to try to hide a laugh, before she spoke up. "Looks like without him, you're pretty BONELY!" She began to laugh and you tried to give her a straight face. You failed. "Mom, I bet you and Sans would be great friends. He likes puns too!" You put your hands in your jacket pocket and remembered the slip of paper in your pocket. "Oh really? I would like to meet this, Sans. He sounds SANS-tastic. Ha. Well goodnight, my child." She hugged you and you both walked to your rooms. It was getting pretty late, so you doubted anyone was still awake. You took out the little paper and added Sans' contact into your phone. "Maybe." You said to yourself as you texted the skeleton.

'Hey Sans. Its (Y/N)'

You sighed and placed your phone on charge. "He obviously is asleep. why would he still be awa-" "bzzzzt!" Your thoughts were interrupted by your phone vibrating. You looked at the screen and opened the phone to your messages.

'Oh uh hey. What's up?'

'The sky, duh.'

'Doubt that. I bet its your ceiling.'

'Stalker.'

'So I was right?'

'Y are u awake anyway?'

'Y r u avoiding my question?'

'Cuz.'

'Alright. Well I am awake cuz I just finished readin a bedtime story to Pap. whats ur excuse?'

'I just got home.'

'Seriously?! Ugh! I should have taken you home!"

"Nah, its fine."

You heard footsteps, and realized someone was outside the door. Thinking of your conversation with your mother earlier, you assumed it was her, stalking on you. You began to text Sans again.

'Hold up my mom is stalking me.'

'Lol k.'

You put your phone down and opened the door. Your father stood there with a slice of butterscotch cinnamon pie and he smiled at you. "Thought you would be hungry, so I snuck you a slice. Don't tell Tori. I mean your mom." You laughed and grabbed the plate. "Thanks Dad." You placed the pie on your nightstand and hugged your goat dad. "Love you, night Dad." He hugged you back. "Love ya too." You both let go and he closed the door. You jumped back on your bed and began to text Sans again, while eating the evidence of your Dad's heist.

'Im backkkkkk!'

'Lol what'd she want?'

'Oh. turns out it was my dad. He snuck me a pie.'

'Noice. Well it's getting late and im bone tired. So night.'

'Night knight.

WAIT AUTOCORRECT!'

'Nope. Too late. Night your highness.'

You placed your phone next to the empty plate of pie and lay down onto your tiny bed and a smile began to grow across your face as you began to laugh. "Ugh you're so annoying. Just kiss him or something!" A little voice said next to you. "Flowey, just shut up." You said to the small, yellow, talking flower next to you. Flowey had the dead soul of Toriel and Asgore's real child, Asriel. The flower was cold-hearted and rude, but sometimes you knew he did't mean it. Having no soul made it impossible for him to care, but despite that, a small part of him seemed to still be there. Flowey sometimes was nice to you, and whenever you were feeling bad, or were bullied he would always be there for you. Even if he was a heartless jerk, he was still very close to you. He was placed in a pot, so that he could travel to the surface. "Night Flowey." You said patting his yellow petals. "Hmph. Night." He said turning his head from you. You felt your eyes begin to burn and you covered yourself, immediately falling asleep, with Sans on your mind.
