(Author's rambling)
I have absolutely no fresh ideas and don't want to publish a story with nothing but a very awkward author's note. So I decided to dig through the short stories in my creative writing books from last year for one of my old writings to post! Ugh I know, I'm lazy :P
I think I posted this somewhere else on a school thing when I was in creative writing group last year? I could be thinking of another of my writings though

Rusty scales shine, almost golden. Huge eyes blink slowly, green-yellow and glimmering with wisdom. His majestic wings have a span greater than a bus, yet he unfolds and lifts them with grace; a few slow, pensive flaps, stroking, caressing the air, he soars up. He stretches his terracotta wings to their full extent and glides across the horizon.
