Wishing
Wishing that somehow
Some way
Happiness will come some day
Maybe it will come tomorrow
Maybe in a year
Maybe it is nowhere near here
But as long as it comes
Someday, some year
I will be happy
Truly happy
And escape the sadness of today
Escape the pain
Escape the fear
Escape the loneliness and hate
But until I escape
I will fight
And one day
