" ashton , wait up ! " I shouted running after my bestfriend laughing .
" come on sky , were gonna miss it . " ashton said outta breath still running to the beach . we finally made it , right in time . the baby turtles rush their way to the water trying not to be killed , their little flippers in the sand , it was absolutely amazing . I looked over at ashton , he had the biggest smile on his face , he looked so beautiful . his eyes caught mine and we just stared at each other than busted out laughing because we cant be serious . ashton interwined his hand with mine , and we watch the last of the turtles vanish in the water .
" ashton , can you come over tomorrow ? " I asked him while we walked hand and hand back to my house.
" um yeah , see you tomorrow sky . " he said with a sad look in his eyes , something was wrong with him and I found out why the next night.
the moving van sat outside his house , I looked out my window , just in time to make eye contact with him , he stared back at me with sadness his eyes . I left my window and rushed to the front door , but once I got to my mailbox , ashton just shook his head no , and I was hurt. he was my bestfriend we been bestfriends since we were two , we been each others back bone for thirteen years and now he's just leaving not even wanting to say goodbye .
