chapter 7

Alex's pov
I got in the shower and when I got out I grabbed a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt . I went and got Johnnie and told him that we are going to the hospital. He was crying..
Alex: Johnnie what's wrong?
Johnnie: They said they don't know how long my mom will live
Alex : omg Johnnie baby I'm so sorry, let's go right now and see her
Johnnie: okay

We got to the hospital and we rushed in to see Johnnies mom. We got in there and she looked so bad . We were in there for about and your before we had to leave . Johnnie was crying when we left. We got back and we went to sleep. Until about 4 in the morning when I heard Johnnie got up and went to the bathroom. I couldn't fall back asleep so I realized Johnnie had been in the bathroom for a long time. I heard him crying so I walked in that's when my heart dropped. He was sitting on the floor with blood all over his arm . I fell to his arm and cleaned it off. I gave him a hug and told him that he didn't need to do this. He said he did it because his mom is in the hospital and he wishes she wasn't in pain. We were both crying and I told him that it would hurt her even more to see him like this.I told him to go to bed and in the morning we would go see her. He got up and wiped his eyes and went to bed. The next morning we went to the hospital and we seen his mom .She seen his scars and she asked why he did it.He said bc seeing her hurt made him sad. They hugged for like 5 minutes. We left at 4 and went home. Johnnie said that he didn't want to lose her and I told him that we wouldn't. I took Johnnie to the park and we ate dinner and hung out and talked. That's when we got an unexpected call from an unknown number.
