Chapter 2: Didn't Mean to Bump Into You

(Corey's POV)

                       I tossed and turned in my bed. I was becoming restless. So I decided to get up and take a walk around Peaceville.

                       I walked around Peaceville looking around at how some people were still up and about. I also noticed that the stars, that were shining down on Peacevill, were really bright and beautiful.

                      I was to busy gazing at the stars that I bumped into somebody. Causing the person I bumped into and me to fall to the ground.

                      "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." I quickly said to the person beneath me. To my surprise the person beneath me was Nick Mallory. Suddenly my heart started to skip a beat when I looked at Nick. 

                       I quickly got off Nick and gave him my hand to help him up off the ground. He took my hand, and with my help, he got off the ground.

                      "Again Nick, I'm sorry I bumped into you."

(Nick 's Pov)

                     "No biggy," I said with my Nick Mallory smile.

                     "I was just taking a walk. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in bed?"

                     "Oh.... uh yeah I should be, but I was getting restless so I couldn't sleep." He started explaining to me. "So I left my house and decided to walk around Peaceville. But then I saw how beautiful the stars were, and that's how I bumped into you."

                    Corey finished explaining himself and looked up at the stars. I looked at the stars too and said "You're right they are beautiful."

                    'But not as beautiful as you are Corey.' I thought to myself.

(Corey's POV)

                     We stared at the stars for a little while but I noticed that it was getting really late.

                     "It's starting to get late, I should probably head back home."

                     "Yes it is getting late, but would you like to hang out some other time?" Nick says.

                     "Sure, I'd love that!" I told Nick.

                     "Cool! I'll pick you up at 11:30."

                     "Ok see you then Nick." I told him.

                     "See you then Cor." Nick says.

                      Cor? He's never called me that before. But I shrugged it off. Not giving it too much thought as I started heading home.
