Amnesia

Every time she wakes she new all over again. She's meeting you for the first time everyday make her fall in love with you through memories.

Robyn woke up in white room the sun was coming out just from the horizon she was dressed in a white sheered nightie with her black hair in a bun. She didn't know where she was because this place didn't look familiar to her. She was confused on what was going on last night she was at the club having a good time with her friends than she woke up here. Sitting up she looked around the room before getting out of it to find clues on how she'd gotten here and how she could leave once she found them.

Opening the door she stepped out the room quietly checking out her surroundings it was a light blue hallway with pictures of Barbados decorating the walls and people sitting on thrones. Robyn quietly but slowly walked down the hallway only to stop when she heard voices. "Reign stop or your gonna wake mommy." The voice of a male said. Getting closer to the voices Robyn finally stopped when she saw a man dressed in white with a small child with dark brown curly hair who was also dressed in white. She walked in slowly to get a better look at them and soon the man turned towards her and smiled. "Look mommy's awake." He got up off the floor before picking up the small child. "Who are you?" Robyn asked in shock. He gave her a confused look."Robyn it's me Chris your husband."

Robyn shook her head. "You're lying I don't have a husband and damn sure don't have a daughter!" She spoke out harshly. Chris was little taken aback at her sudden outburst but he had to understand that she wasn't the old Robyn anymore she died a longtime ago in a car crash which affect her to lose her memory everyday. Her long term was gone and only her short term memory was available. Chris sighed and handed her a DVD. "Play this and when you're ready we'll be in the kitchen waiting. He moved closer to her and gave her a kiss on the side of her cheek. For a moment Robyn felt like his lips belonged on her skin like his lips were familiar to her but she didn't know how that could be possible cause she never kissed him a day in her life or so she thought.

"Come on Reign let's leave mommy to watch her movie alone." He said taking his daughter to the kitchen to give her morning breakfast that consist of her favorite French toast. Robyn was left alone in the empty living room with the dvd in her hand she looked directly at the flatscreen tv in front of her and looked over spotting a DVD player below it; she bent down to put the DVD in and went over to the couch satdown as she pressed play on the remote beside her watching as Chris' face appeared on the screen he was smiling and then he spoke. "Hi my love I've missed you and I'm happy that your awake. I know that this may all be confusing for you but I'm here to explain. 7 years ago we met and I absolutely thought you the most beautiful girl I've seen in Barbados." He smiled as remembered the times that they shared.

He continued, "I remember the first time we met at a Caribbean restaurant baby you were so shy and nice, but also didn't want to give me the time of day. Which I understood to a degree but I couldn't get you out of my mind. We used to talk till one day you couldn't remember who I was and we spent almost everyday together at breakfast time. I didn't understand what the problem was them your father told me that I should stay away from you cause of your condition." Chris looked sad then sighed before speaking again. "You got into serious car accident that caused a brain injury that cause your short term memory to switch off and wipe out everyday. Everyday I have to  make you remember me and the beautiful life we have together." Robyn put her hand over her mouth as streams of tears went down her face as she watched the stranger now known to her as her husband spoke on the television screen.

"Every night when you're laying in my arms asleep I cry because I can't fix you. We broke up about 50 times cause you thought I couldn't handle it. You even kept a journal about our dates, that's when you revealed that you fell in love with me; but you didn't want to hurt me anymore. But baby you hurt me more by being away from me I couldn't let you go. So one day when you woke up in the morning I had put the engagement ring on your finger and proposed to you in front of all your friends and family and then two years later we got married and had Reign."

"Oh my god!" Robyn said as she stared seeing pictures of her in the delivery room with baby Reign in her arms and Chris taking video of the special moment. "I love you guys so much you two are my world and If this is all it takes to get back to the Robyn I fall in love with everyday I don't care about your condition I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are happy even when you won't remember it. Anyway enough of this story come to the kitchen and have breakfast with us and meet your daughter." Robyn hurriedly turned off the tv and headed to the kitchen but no one was there she heard voices coming from the back. Walking over to the patio she slid the door opened stepping out.

"Mom? Dad?" Robyn said as she saw them talking to her friends and Chris. "Mi gal you finally come out." Papa Fenty said with a big smile. Chris turned around and got up from his seat. "Hi baby." Chris gave Robyn a gently kiss on the lips. "Mama" Reign called out as she ran into her mother's arms. Robyn picked her daughter up seeing her for the very first time due to the amnesia. "Oh my god you're so beautiful!" Robyn cried happily as she hugged Reign tighter. "Hi mama" Reign said in her baby voice. "Mama?" She questioned. Chris grinned and kissed Robyn on her forehead. "That's right Mommy meet your daughter and let's get reacquainted again caused I missed you." He walked her over to the table where all of her family was sitting having breakfast ready to go down memory lane with Robyn even though she would forget come tomorrow.
