Saying Goodbye

Sage's POV

Lunchtime at NY High never ended well, ever.

There was always to many clichés.

Maddi and I never fitted with anyone because my brothers were Corey and Chase Montez, we could choose which group. We could be with my brothers and their friends or we could be with the nerds. We were never with the nerds, but I'm only known as 'Corey and Chase Montez's sister', nothing special.

Today was different, because NY High was saying goodbye to 5 of their populars. This ain't gonna end well.

Well actually I only came so I could see Corey break up with that bitch of girlfriend he has. Mia Bakely. God, I hate that girl. So does Corey and everyone else on the rest of the planet. This is gonna be funny.

"Uh Mia, I'm moving." Corey started slowly, probably to get it through that dumb head of hers.

"Yeah. And?" Mia responded. Dumb as bat shit this girl.

"Well, I'm moving out of the country. I'll never see you again." Corey said even more slower.

"And? We can have a long distance relationship." Mia said, oh my god, how dense can you be!

"Mia, I'm breaking up with you. I don't like you, never have. I only went out with you to satisfy the schools population." He told her.

"Fine. Go find another whore to tool with, wherever your going." Mia spat and walked off.

I started laughing. What! It was funny! I heard a deeper laugh and turned to see Aaron, he's dreamy. More laughter came from the cafeteria, everyone was laughing. I looked over at Corey and saw him stand on top of a table, he pulled Chase and I up, along with Aaron, Maddi, Jase and Sophie.

"I have an announcement. We are moving. We will never see any of you again. We all would like to thank you guys in being a part of our life. We love you all." Corey told them and everyone cheered. Yay! We can leave.

I watched Sophie run to her "best friend" Abigail, they were both crying, even though there was a 'get me out if here' look on Sophie's face. Abigail's had a look that said, 'yes, now I can be Miss Popular', some girls are strange like that.

"Can we leave yet?" I heard Maddi whine to my brother Chase. Yes good Maddi!

"Yeah soon, we just gotta wait for that to finish." Chase said nodding in the direction of Sophie and Abigail.

"I got this." I sighed and walked over to Sophie and Abigail, I tapped Sophie on the shoulder, that being the only place I can reach without stretching on her 5'10 body. "Soph, we gotta leave." I told Sophie and she nodded, said goodbye again and walked off pulling me by the hand to the rest of them.

"Yes! Now I'm Miss Popular!" We heard a shout from Abigail's direction, everyone turned to look at her.

"You'll never be Miss Popular!" Jase shouted back.

"No one likes you!" Corey added.

"What'd you say Montez?" She turned to Corey.

"I believe you know what I said. Let the population of our school decide." Corey said, turning on his heel, we all followed without question.

We got to our car and Corey hopped in the drivers seat, pulling out once all of us were in.

"Now that's the way to end it." Aaron said and we all cheered.

We're leaving. A new life is coming for the closest people to me, I'll ever have. New school, we're going to East High School, Alberquerque.
